Tongey talks about relegation, Brian Robson, Neil Warnock and promotion back to the Premiership...

Cheers to footballno7 and the icons team for getting in touch :)

Footballers tend to be men of few words... they don't know that many generally :D

amen to that sister.

I mean lets face it, if the were litterary geniuses(sp) then they wouldnt be footballers would they

With a former Midfield player of the quality of robson in charge I'm very confident about Tonge next season, nice to see his loyalty to the club, because I know for a fact Reading and Wigan are both interested in him and came to watch him towards the end of the season.

All we need now is Jags to commit himself to the club, Im confident he will stay.

And tbf to Tongey, when I've heard him in interviews he actually sounds fairly intelligent!

and you send him a valentines card every year, just so he knows how much you care :D

Good to see that one of our more high profile players seems intent on staying, reagrdless of whether there is interest in him or not.

As mentioned further up, i feel that tongey will benefit greatly from the expereince that Robson can pass onto him.

I really do think that Jags will be the only significant player to leave, and i'm not convinced that he will go either.

wont he get a bit jealous that you dont have him as your avatar sharpy, and that you got kozzy instead?

I remember Warnock, when Tonge was in the limelight, stopped him from doing live interviews to 'protect him'. Not sure if it included all interivews but he does seem to compose himself well these days infront of the camera or micophone.
