If we get to Wembley Ill go but no chance of any of the semis, I can barley be arsed to go to the Preston game. Im quite fucked off with United at the mo which takes alot.

Looking forward to a golfing weekend in Skegvegas next weekend which gives me another excuse to not go to the semis too

I will not be bothering. Like many I just cannot be arsed. The apathy of the players, the inevitable defeat and this painful season is too much. Plus I agree with Grecian2000 about Wembley ticket prices and the occassion etc. I object to forking out £60 for a shite seat in a half empty stadium. At Old Trafford I might go, same as if the Blades made a cup final I would be there like a shot.

Luckily I have a wedding on the Saturday in Macclesfield. It was arrnage dages ago and I booked a train back to London which arrives after 2pm. So I would miss kick off. I am not paying to have it changed. If we do make, then I have already agreed with a mate to meet in Sheffield. I will jump on a train across the Pennines and watch it in a boozer in Shef. Other welcome to join me and BladeInThatcham.

To be honest though i just cannot see us making it. I have seen very little evidence we can beat either Donny or Brentford. Perhaps if brentford win, we could limp past a dejected Doncaster. I doubt it though.

Golf society do is it on the Saturday?

More just a little tournament between mates, but yes Saturday is the main event but we'll be having a warmup round on Friday on the nightmarish campsite course.

Not sure if we're playing North Shore or Adelthorp for the actual tournament yet though.

Either way it'll be much more enjoyable than watching the playoffs.

Also everytime we go there something bad happens to United. Last 2 times we went Ched got sent down and then we lost Quinn the next time, doesnt help that I was with a bunch of Wendies too and had to listen to their games on PigPlayer. So the obvious outcome is that we wont even get to Wembley although maybe itl be payback time and Ill get to laugh at them getting relegated on 55 points :)

Exactly this.

If we can get a hug gathering of Blades watching the match in a pub in town though then I might be tempted to give the final a miss.

My entire play-off belief relies on this. Will they be able to bounce back from two defeats that have cost them automatic when they were already celebrating inside?
We've performed at a consistent level (albeit not a great one) all season but they will have crashed and burned at the death.

Made my mind up not to attend any more play off finals after the Burnley debacle. To be honest, I've never liked the play offs, should scrap them, finish third you get promoted. When supporters have forked out their hard eaned cash on attending home and way games IMO the play offs are an unnecessary further expense. At one time Wembley was only used for internationals and cup finals now cup semi finals and play off finals have been added..........some one has to pay for the rebuild.

If it happens, I'll be there. "Cheap" seats this time though, and a bit more of an overdraft. Can cope with that thankfully. Couldn't imagine not being there..That's it really..UTB

As Pommpey said they are impossible to divorce but I'm managing the separation differently.

I will see out the season at Crewe, Preston, play off home leg (won't go to the away leg unless it is Donny).

If by some miracle we get to Wembley I will go.

However, I have not renewed a season ticket so don't expect to attend much at all next season.

After 50 years of "going down the Lane" they've finally broken me.

I would if I could, but I can't, so I won't
