David Walter Davies centre forward at SUFC played 27 times 1913-1915. Didn't play in the FA Cup final winning team of 1915. Released to continue his mining career in Wales 1915 during WW1 whilst still playing for local teams. Cardiff listed as one of his teams.

So was Robert Page and Dean Richards. Dirt sheap defenders who were awesome in that game.

Two players who did play for them who I wished we'd signed were Graham Kavanagh and Joe Ledley.

Peter Whittingham also quality that should've had more PL games.

Class player. 82 goals in 381 games over 12 seasons of Championship football from the wing was an incredible return.

Cardiff had some great players around the early to mid 2000s, Whittingham, Kavanagh, Ledley, Jerome, Chopra, Gabbidon, Gray, McAnuff, Koumas.
