For the first time this season, I feel distressed and anxious... I can account for the first 4 games but this was a line in the sand for me... it was a must win game and, tbh, I didn't feel like we were going to win this game at any point in the game.

I know its early, I am not usually a doubter but this is a very difficult position to get out of... we are simply not the team from last season and we will score very few goals this year.

I'm trying to be positive and look ahead but I really don't have a good feeling about this season.

We were a team that scored very few goals last season too.

Problem is we're not keeping clean sheets this season, nor is anyone else, at this rate golden glove will be 5 clean sheets.

To me this was sort of like the Watford game last season, where we needed to win (long before we were safe) but didn't. We'd obviously made a good start though by that point.

It's not drastic yet, but the speed at which Wilder reacts to us not being solid at the back and sets us out to be more attacking is vital.

What has happened to our fitness?
Granted Berge has played internationals but the rest?
I think our fans really do add that extra 5% to our drive and desire. And that extra 5% got us over the line of numerous occasions last season. WIthout that we are struggling. How can this be sorted?

I agree 100% we're missing the fans but I think pretty much every team could claim that.

Said the same we are slow, very slow and the high press is missing.

There are a handful of poor teams this season.

It will be a good achievement to stay up this year given COVID, no fans etc.

First 4 games we have had some rotten fortune which puts us in such a position. Then we have 70% of the squad away at a time we want to get some work in together.

That first half performance today would have killed the game off had we been in better form and had a few better results behind us.

There is more or less no advantage to being at home these days. In fact with no negative of the home fans giving support (when you are the away side) and the positive of going away as a team and bonding, it's no surprise that there is almost no home advantage.

What we need to do now is push the others down. West Brom and Fulham need to be the bottom 2.

Then it is between us, Burnley, Brighton and possibly a Southampton, Newcastle.

At least Chris has some new bodies. I'm not convinced Brighton have strengthened and Burnley had a poor window with Dyche visibly disappointed.

Southampton are comparable tee to green but have better strikers. I think West Ham will have too much quality. It will also be interesting to see how Leeds do into next year. Bielsa teams often lose steam and I can't say they were better than us, and their goal was a foul on Berge.

We'll finish with far less points than last season but once a few bodies start to blend in then we will give ourselves a fighting chance.

Adding more variables like system changes or manager changes aren't the solution for me but some of Chris's signings have got to start justifying their fees now.

I share concerns. Tough fixtures coming up which on current form will yield little/nothing.

Unless we can start putting away the few chances we create it is hard to see how we are going to get away from the bottom of the table. One goal scored from open play this season. Not good enough.

I am sure confidence plays a part. In a strange way Mitrovic and McBurnie are in the same boat. Both need a goal or two to get going and the harder they try the worse it gets. How many chances has McBurnie had in recent games?

Brewster will have to come good but is still not fit, only capable of playing half a game!

The only saving grace might be Fulham, WBA and Burnley.

Keep the faith lads!

It’s been obvious for a while that we needed more pace and athleticism. Wilder himself said it at the end of last season. But we haven’t addressed it which is ridiculous

As well as being slow we are also unfit. We looked knackered after an hour today and, despite an ok-ish 1st half, we were fortunate to get a point in the end.

It’s been a dreadful start to the season - slow, negative and turgid football with too much hoof thrown in. I really don’t understand what has happened to Wilder - he’s morphing into Warnock.

Apart from that it’s all good.

Fitness is and has been a big issue for me, has been from last season, we are supposed to be one of the fittest teams in the division, what happened ?
Recruitment also seems to be an issue as many have said, I realise we (apparently) don't have a barrel of money, but could it have been spent on less players coming in and better quality?
The next run of games will be a "shit-fest" as we will get nothing from them and probably be rock bottom by the end of November.
Whatever anybody says CW is not beyond getting the big heavo' the Prince will look to protect his investment, if that means a change and upsetting the fanbase i think he will do it. - let's hope not!!
If i'm honest the biggest bugbear for me is not the players performance, I just keep going back to the recruitment issue!
Why did CW want a replacement for JOC when he has brought players in for exactly that scenario?
Worrying times but us "oldies" have been here before, hopefully we will be fine - and i think we will, but things will get worse before they get better - as someone said, "keep the faith"

Just got to hope things click and we pick up.

If we continue to play as we have so far then looking at the fixtures until Christmas we will be lucky to have double figure points.

Need players back like Fleck and Mousse ASAP and to find some confidence. Defence conceding too many soft goals but we're not conceding like many other teams so far.
