Hi Friar Stegosaurus here

"“You shall not hate your brother in your heart, but you shall reason frankly with your neighbor, lest you incur sin because of him. You shall not take vengeance or bear a grudge against the sons of your own people, but you shall love your neighbor as yourself." - Leviticau 19:17-18

Amen to that brother......

The miners strike affected a lot of people in Yorkshire and killed many communities so no, we shouldn't forget it. How about the world wars, should we just forget them?

No. Never forget. But never hate.

It would seem ridiculous to bump into a 24 year old German guy and call him a Nazi.

It would seem ridiculous to bump into a 24 year old Nottingham guy and call him a Scab.

No. The miners strike did NOT affect a lot of people in Yorkshire and killed many communities. It wasn't the strike that did that. It wasn't the Nottinghamshire miners that did that. The Conservative Government decision to close the pits affected a lot of people in Yorkshire and killed many communities. Blame the right people.

The narrative that one group of working class people were/are to blame for what happened to another group of working class people is fucking ridiculous.

Sure. We need solidarity. Sure. That was lacking in parts of the miners dispute. Sure, call that out. But, fuck sake, there's no pits in Yorkshire, there's no pits in Nottinghamshire, they didn't shut each others pits down.

What's fucking wrong with people?

The brutal fact is the pits needed shutting down they’d had their time same as the steelworks the filth what the coal fired power stations belched out not to mention domestic chimneys terrible

Detest/ Hate what a load of bile- you need to get out more if you are feeling like this. The stupid song – sung about MGW – typifies moron mentality.

Forest have a great old fashioned ground – much like ours. Their fan base is also working / middle class like ours.

Their manager down to earth bloke good tactician much like Hecky.

An away match at Forest is a good trip – all 4 sides give it you at volume- intimidation at it’s best.

All teams have a section of thugs/ people you’d rather not mix with, and we are definitely included in that, but its also true

That 95% of football fans are decent folk.

‘Detest/ Hate’ too strong pal – they’re just like us.

I’m not having anyone saying City Ground has a good atmosphere, it’s utter toss as is the funereal dirge of Mull of Kintyre - all the atmosphere of a WI tea party.

Scabs are the lowest form of human life and I wish each and every one of them personal tragedy on an individual level.

Anybody who defends them are pure scum.

I'm setting myself up for a lot of grief here but...I genuinely don't get the Forest hate. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy getting one over on them, and I like that it's become a sort of rivalry over the years, but I can't get my head round the idea of putting them on the same level as Leeds, or the pigs.

Is it all just to do with the match in the playoffs last year? Or is there something else? Admittedly I don't have any interaction with them, other than one of my best mates, who is a thoroughly reasonable bloke and has no truck with their supposed arrogance and such.

All my football-supporting life I've seen them as a very similar club to us. Similar sized stadium and attendances, maybe underachieveing given those factors. Their big days are far, far behind them, they're a yoyo prem/champ club at best, so why all the hate?

Not trolling, just genuinely curious why so many of our fans have such a massive issue with them.

I tend to be fairly relaxed about Forest fans, until I meet one and remember they are by and large complete numpties.

Well. You sort of got that this week. With the random slaughter of people living in Nottingham. Including one Forest fan as old as me, who would have lived through the Miners dispute. So, win for you...

A 'win' for me would've entailed never having to grow up in a family and a community decimated in large part by your aforementioned friends, who sneered and jeered and mocked us every step of the way, but hey ho.

To say that this week - of all weeks - you are a full on bell end.

Anyway fellas, The Blades will be travelling to the City Ground fairly soon.

I'll do a charitable deed and find out when tickets become available for the Trent End, so you can cheer on your heroes against Sheffield United and tell us to 'sign on'.

Peace and Love ❤️

The Conservative government ably assisted by a bunch of fucking scabs closed the pits down. They played a fucking huge part in helping the cunts in power at the time claim a victory. Even worse is the fact that the scabbing bastards sold their fellow workers down the river knowing the same fate was round the corner for themselves.

We all know the depths that bastard Thatcher plumbed to rape the working classes, for a fucking miner and a union member to side with the shitbag is unforgivable. No, they are the right people to blame, they were working class turning against their fellow working class brothers. Lowest fucking life form, fuck the lot of 'em.

Did you know Walthy was a scab? Pretty proud of it as well, so he was 👍

The pits needed closing down fossil fuels are pollutants and filthy

Seen we got forest start of season .
Love our lot to go there give em hell.
I'm a Derby blade and I will be there full throttle. Hate the scabby Muppets.
But when they visit the lane and big boys think they enter the pitch and attack Billy Sharpe id like them to know that blades are gonna looking for you.
After Wednesday it used to be leeds but I detest/hate forest .
Don’t hate. Just love …….the blades

I went on pickets at the time and can remember the hatred for the UDM. The feeling was that Thatcher would have caved if it wasn't for Notts coal keeping the power plants going. Forest fans are still taking the piss over it, chanting about us being on the dole.

38 years ago, like most people I was a youngster at the time (if even born)
I did Coal not Dole demonstrations, food collections etc.
I'm also not so stupid to think people down the road can all be lumped into one basket and hated.
Absolutely ridiculous.
