If we beat Bolton it's a win win situation, both of Leeds and Norwich can't win, a draw would also mean we gain ground. Over a third of the season remains and a lot could change, the way I see it most of the teams around us have had runs of six wins or unbeaten runs of about ten whereas we haven't. Four wins on the bounce is the best we have done yet we are still up there challenging lets hope our big run comes in say the last ten games.
But we’ve had 4 wins on the bounce 3 times this season so far. Still enough games for us to do that at least twice more.

If we lose at home to Bolton we can forget about promotion. Seriously.

It'd certainly be tough. I still stand by my 90 points to claim second, would obviously leave us needing 39 from 48 points to play for. 36 from 48 is more doable obviously, but there's still a twist or two left for this season. Maybe a season like most in which we look back and think 'if only xxx....'

leeds to win , then when we win we go 2nd again
psychologically killing off norwich
we win at leeds then its a 1 game gap to close

exact same finish as 2 years ago will do me
after 29 games we had 57 points
we got 43 points from last 17 to finish on 100 points
same again will see us up on 94 points

Not sure there's a result that is good for us, unless you rule out winning the league and focus on second.

If we're only 3 points behind Leeds and Norwich on Sunday morning I think we'll all be very happy won't we?

I saw TC in my first game at the lane I’ve seen ups but mostly downs,we’ve been the nearly men most of my life.
I don’t care what Leeds or Norwich do on Saturday.
If we beat Bolton on Saturday and Villa away I will start to believe the ‘nearly men monkey’on our backs is losing it’s grip.
If we keep winning we’ll win the league,Saturday is massive for us I hope that the crowd don’t get twitchy or nervous if it’s still 0-0 after an hour or so.
UTB.

Leeds may well win the title this year and we and Norwich may contest 2nd place. We are both away last match albeit at different clubs.
History will repeat itself.

That was also the latest year Liverpool won the first division

It's more than a three horse race for two spots
West Brom are three points behind with a better goal difference and a game in hand
Middlesboro four points behind with a game in hand

This weekend's fixtures are fantastic for us, but we have to do our own business first and beat Bolton......and we all know what happened last season

I feel like a thread called "Hypothetical poll" should be for discussing a potential future poll and not include a poll at all. At most it should contain a poll about whether to hold said hypothetical poll.

Are you speaking hypothetically?
