Completely hypothetical...

but let's say we win and WBA lose this weekend

What would you prefer....

Norwich win and we close the gap to 3pts for both 1st/2nd

Leeds win and we're 2nd but the gap widens for going up as champions

Draw and it's a mixed bag - 1pt from 2nd, 4pts from 1st

Tricky question,I’d suppose a draw is the best, then they only share 2 points.

Regards promotion.

Although I don’t like Leeds
Part of me would like to see a Yorkshire double, us and Leeds to finish top two.
Although it would also be hilarious to see them do a Derby and have a poor run in, missing out.

Leeds are league winners for me, I don't mind conceding top spot to them. Bielsa is tactically too astute for this division - simple as. And that will prove the difference despite their injury list.

Norwich getting nil points would be very welcome, they've lost 1 in 17 and would be nice for them to have a knock to their confidence and slow up their momentum which a point at Leeds would do the complete opposite of.

We're in a 3 horse race for 2nd in my mind.

it's a no brainer - for your closest rivals (of which these too are) a draw means 1 point is "lost" between them.

If someone has to win, ask yourself the question who is more likely to be there at the end - for me it's Leeds, so if anyone is to win then Leeds. Lets just chase one down and not two teams.

The contradiction though is

If Bielsa is so tactically astute then why has he hardly won a thing, also his teams tend to start well thenhave a poor 2nd half of the season. None of the really big clubs (apart from possibly Marseille) have shown any interest in appointing him.

There’s no telling how not being able to spy on teams the day before the match will have on Bielsa’s abilities.
He won’t have the foresight of knowing the oppositons starting line ups or surprise team or individual tactics.

Leeds to win, just to watch those Norwich sister shaggers call them divers, cloggers and the rest of the incorrect clichés they use.

That's because he's a bit of a mentalist by all accounts. The big clubs don't want the hassle.

The bloke's managed some great clubs and his country. Great CV.

Draw would be ideal (provided we win)

Leeds win and us to win would mean 3 pt gain over Norwich and no difference with Leeds.

Basically owt but a Norwich win.

All completely irrelevant if we don't do our own job.

To be honest the only thing that matters is that we beat a very poor Bolton, because every possible result from the other 2 has it's benefits.

Leeds win and we are back into 2nd, Norwich win and we pin back the league leader. A draw would probably be best though so that we can chip away at both of them.

Leeds win will be ok, we need to get the win ourselves.

Small point, but i think its important, we don't need to be looking behind us. We need to firstly look at ourselves, then (and only then) we look ahead and see what we're chasing down.

Our game at Elland Road may well be a really important game for us

In 1990 Leeds won the old 2nd division title. Last day of the season we went to Leicester needing at least a draw if Newcastle in 3rd place won away.
Leeds may well win the title this year and we and Norwich may contest 2nd place. We are both away last match albeit at different clubs.
History will repeat itself.
Automatic promotion will be secured at Stoke whilst Norwich falter at Villa.

Seen it in mi tealeaves!!!

Draw would be best, aside from that it's a tricky one. From what I've seen in recent weeks, of the two of them Norwich are the better team but Leeds seem to have a knack of annoyingly grinding out results. As Tufty says, worry about ourselves first and foremost, if we don't do our job it's irrelevant.

Difficult to say. If we assume we win then I'd prefer a draw. If we lose then I'd Rather Leeds won, if we draw then either a Leeds win or draw, kinda becomes less important I think

If we lose at home to Bolton we can forget about promotion. Seriously.

As long as we win it's all good, but I went for a Norwich win, against the conventional wisdom it would seem. My view is, it's better to have two teams that could possibly slip up and let us in than just to be relying on one. I don't think Leeds are as invincible as some think and I do think Norwich could hit a bad patch before the end, either way I'd prefer to spread the bet.

England made the world cup semi final that year ,their already in a semi final this year.

We simply don't and won't know until the end of the season.
It would be a pisser to want and get a Leeds win only to see Norwich go on an amazing run to win it and we finish 2 points behind Leeds.
I seem to remember Norwich have a relatively easy run in from after the Leeds game?

All this chasing the team above you and then the one after that surely you turn up at the next match with the attitude of we are going to win, after the game look at the table and other results and hope it's gone our way, you don't plan to overtake who ever is directly above you just win the game and hope everything has gone your way

Just remember - we may well be on sky telly for that game :(

TBH im much more concerned to learn that as of this Saturday the Pigs get 5 points for a draw and 10 for a win. :(

If we beat Bolton it's a win win situation, both of Leeds and Norwich can't win, a draw would also mean we gain ground. Over a third of the season remains and a lot could change, the way I see it most of the teams around us have had runs of six wins or unbeaten runs of about ten whereas we haven't. Four wins on the bounce is the best we have done yet we are still up there challenging lets hope our big run comes in say the last ten games.

3 horse race for 2nd between us, Norwich and WBA?

Can't argue with that... although I think we'll finish 5th

We’re cap-doffing Dirty Corrupt Leeds now. Are there no depths to which we will not sink?
