Hull fans on Friday

If United fucked the club around like Coventry or Hull, I'd turn my back on them as well. Permanently. I've got better things to do with my time and money and certainly wouldn't waste it blowing a fucking whistle.

How have Hull fans been fucked around? Before the Allam's came in they were about to go into liquidation (not just administration). They wouldn't have had a club at all never mind spent time in the prem and an FA cup final.

I sympathise with any set of fans who are abused by their owners, there but for the grace of the almighty may we have been and who knows where we'll be post-McCabe.

It's the Sheffield Mancs, the Southern Mancs, the Yorkshire Mancs and Uncle Tom Cobbley and all worldwide that bother me; not Hull city fans who have stuck with a small club over the decades I have been watching.

I reckon maybe 8000 of those Hull fans have supported their club come hell or high water. Feel sorry for them and by the way 7950 of those will not post wind-ups to fans of other clubs ever.

We are going to get stitched up tonight if we're not careful. The Hull fans will whistle etc indiscriminately, especially when we are in possession. Our fans will react and Sky will probably zoom in on a minor skirmish with a steward or something. We will then end up as the villains of the piece. It would be better if we had boycotted the game and CW informed the ref that the situation was untenable when the shenanigans started. This would encourage the Hull fans to whistle even more and get the game abandoned. End result, 3-0 to us. I hope this scenario has been considered.

I was sat right by the Hull fans at Wembley and few of them looked like they had ever set foot inside a football ground before.

Those 8000 I mentioned had, that's for sure.

Agree they didn't know many chants and songs!! But their core 8000 were rather drowned out by our trusty 19000 (then) plus the other hangers-on!!

As an aside, I do recall when we got down to a core of around 11000 in the really bad times. I always say Wednesday got down to 9000.

Neither club deserved that many at times!!

So this is their master plan. Allams in chants when everything goes tits up? It worked at Coventry.

Personally I don't usually laugh at a clubs demise but when wank clubs come along like Dull and Coventry you can't but just stop and laugh at their misery.
why do they all pick the game against us??

Incorrect because...

No manager since Adrian Heath has been small enough to fit into the boot of a mini.

Dore Ladies don’t drive minis. They may wear them on Thursday nights in the Dev, but they don’t drive them. They drive Porsche Macans’.

Explains Graham Poll at least

Except monkeys don't have a penchant for sucking premier league players off.

Just been chatting with a couple of Humberside Police officers, who clearly aren't from Hull. They Spent five minutes slagging off the"shithole" and its denizens. Wished us well and reminded us Coke is pronounced "kerk" here.

Can't believe you were discussing places to snort with the Po po - respect

Doesn't make an excuse for the performance but a whistle sounded when Clarke was on the ball in the box and caused him a slight hesitation.
That way of "protesting" makes me have zero sympathy for their position

Yep as expected they acted like a bunch of cunts but not sure it made much difference to the result.

The problem with the Hull situation is that it isn't based on a community history. Boothferry was their natural size they didn't ever have a "core of 8000" they had a core of around 2000-3000 that went even when it was blanket around the perimeter day.
The problem for them was that overnight they had a stadium that holds 20,000 the model then to make it work is continued success because when things go a bit array the base isn't big enough to cope. This has worsened for them with the massive amount of cash in the prem such that they can't cope with the wages when they drop and the best players that can cope with the prem leave for other clubs (Harry etc.) leaving a severely weakened team.
The Allam's tried to find a new income stream by pushing the Tigers part of the club via the far east, but the Hull fans who were happy to move to a new soulless stadium (with a belief, that despite the size of their "city" and it's lack of a conurbation, that they had the potential to be a huge club) were not willing to adopt their nickname in their title. I wouldn't like to be the Sheffield Blades so I have some sympathy with them but they had already sold their souls to move into the new stadium. Had the community driven the need for a new stadium or Boothferry developed to that size naturally rather than due to the anomaly of having a separate communications system, then they would be able to cope with fluctuations in status. It's similar to our next opponents.
In conclusion the Hull fans weren't chanting Allam out when the Hull Tigers name was first mooted whilst they were in the Prem, they weren't singing Allam's out when he took them over days before they went out of business when they were desperate to sell Jimmy Bullard calling him a greedy bastard the season after they were lording him. So it's purely the current league position which is one division above their natural position. Which is why I dislike them. They are so plastic they even had to copy Coventry's protest. Who else takes their shoes off in the carpark?
