Absolutely! The trouble is, my sister has got very much into this family history thing and on my mum's side we've traced it right back to 1066 with the Eyre family; apparently my ancestors were royalty when the Eyres were joined in matrimony to the Townsends (that's my mum's lot); thankfully we lost all our royal privileges owing to stubbornness - definitely my relatives. I've still half a mind to pop into Hassop Hall and demand the keys though. Some bloke called Isaac Newton appears on our family tree somewhere as well, which begs the question, how the fuck did he end up on the back of a pound note and not me?
Luckily, my dad's side of the family were all illegitimate and, to quote Rennie Bell himself, "all buried on street corners barely marked with a cross". Going further back, the Bells of Derbyshire came down with Bonnie Prince Charlie during the Jacobite Rebellion, whereupon they witnessed the thumping dished out to the Scots at Culloden and decided fighting wasn't their thing, so quietly snuck off and settled in the peace and quiet of Derbyshire - also definitely my relatives.
In both my mum and dad's latter-days we visited Hathersage Church, the place the two of them met, got married, and are subsequently buried; on said occasion my dad sagely observed that "all yer mother's ancestors are inside the chapel (the Eyre Family tombs) whilst all my family are in t'graveyard".
You looked different with blonde hair.
Tits still the same size though. You looked different with blonde hair.
….and what the fuck has it got to do with them whether the game goes ahead? It’s Covid related not knife crime, theft and hooliganism related.Just been a tweet from South Yorkshire Police saying a final decision will be made tomorrow on whether the game goes ahead. Surely that can't be a final say that it's on a day early, so must mean it's off??
I'd agree mate, didn't say I'm wearing an 'I adore SYP' t shirt, they've probably got more of a heads up than me or thee though whether the game's on….and what the fuck has it got to do with them whether the game goes ahead? It’s Covid related not knife crime, theft and hooliganism related.![]()
I wasn’t having a go at you mate by the way, I was just wondering what the fuck it had to do with those useless, provocative twats.I'd agree mate, didn't say I'm wearing an 'I adore SYP' t shirt, they've probably got more of a heads up than me or thee though whether the game's on
They will be planning the overtime for South Yorkshire and Northumberland forces and want to know how many Big Mac doggie bags to orderI wasn’t having a go at you mate by the way, I was just wondering what the fuck it had to do with those useless, provocative twats.![]()
It’s not a binary concept - Your thinking remains wholly accurateAnd I thought my banter levels were low.
He’s the one with glassesYou looked different with blonde hair.
Ohhh, now you say! He’s the one with glasses![]()
It’s very difficult to prove though. Covid cases/jabbed players is fairly transparent but then how do you factor in injured players? Who decides if a player is fit enough to play? Regardless of COVID cases you can see why Hull might not want to play the 2 of the 3 most in form teams in the championshipThe only reason I can see why games are being called off so late on is because the EFL are taking a closer look at the finer details of each club and whether they are within their rights to try and postpone. Hull’s game was off yesterday but they may well be forced to play if they can not prove they can’t meet the criteria set by the EFL.
Since the rule of 14 fit players was set it seems like nobody has taken it serious. Hopefully the EFL are looking at sanctions for clubs trying to get games off that could be played.
If the Bell's had come down and settled in Endcliffe would they have been known as the Bell Ends?Absolutely!
