There's nowt like encouraging kids to go to watch football.

No concessions at the KC. That's £72 for me and the young un's for the cheapo tickets.

That's a deposit for a semi in Hull.

It was cheaper at Wemberlee.

Guess it will be on the sofa, with a beer for that one.

I genuinely hope they go down and go into administration.

You could get 10 prostitutes on a 50year lease in Hull for less than that!

In all fairness though, they're probably saving to sack Shatkins n pay him off, after realising, like we Did, what a catastrophic error they've made!

It also rules me and my twins out,i refuse to pay full price for 8yr olds, hopefully we'll be on our way to Leicester instead in the cup...if the price is right of course!

Can’t see this selling well, with it being on sky aswell

I have to drive up there once a month for work. My Lord it's depressing. Obviously used to be a thriving town. On its arse now.

The football club can disappear back to the depths with all my blessing. No concessions? Change the club name to Paper Tigers

Shitty hull shitty hull shitty hull

Shitty hull shitty hull shitty hull

Shitty hull.

Its £24 for an adult thats quite reasonable
Only people it will put off is people with kids and I can understand their anger at the no concession policy at Hull
It’s £24 if you have enough loyalty points to get the first lot of tickets.

I usually try and rip off the opposing club by buying a student ticket, so I’m fuming.

That seals it for me. It’s a fucking shite plastic bowl anyway, so the TV in the pub it is.

What a load of twaddle, me and my wife have had a few good nights out in Hull.
Hull Town centre no worse than Sheffield city centre which certainly has more boarded up shops than Hull.
The area around the marina is also very nice.
Can't comment on the ground because i have never been.

There's a kicking off point here.

If they offer concession prices for home fans but not for away fans, then people should kick off.

If they don't offer concession prices for home fans or away fans, then people should kick off.

Hm. There's no shining light for Hull here, is there?

Ticket price becomes irrelevant when you have to factor in a bastard hotel into the bastard equation because bastard Sky mean you can't get back as you would on a Saturday...

I am not getting on that last carnage train out of Hull to Sheffield. Something WILL happen!

I'm guessing a top notch room in Hull will stretch the budget by another tenner??

My daughter is in her final year at uni there and I often ask her about how's she is getting on. I keep getting the same reply, "god dad I really miss Sheffield"

£144 for me, the kids and Dad! The wife would kill me. Compare that to Ipswich in the cup which was about £20 for us all in. Terrible.

I believe one of the reasons it’s going wrong at Ull is down to the owner introducing the membership scheme where everyone pays the same with no concessions.
Suicidal business model

Yeah, I stumped up for a hotel because I can't get back, and am using the free Saturday to watch Leicester to do the ground as we'll never play there any time soon

I work in and around the hospital just off fountain road. Closed pubs and shops and the odd car wash. No buildings been updated since the 50s. It looks like the land time forgot. Like all cities you should judge their prosperity on the areas that haven' been lavished with private cash and endless Costas.

I live in ull now or very close and whilst i wind the wife up about the place (shes from ull) i dont think its too bad, certainly the centre has been improved this last year or two and the pubs in the old town are great. Unfortunately the old town is some distance from the ground. These games against Hull are now my derby ive been getting stick for years.
So COYRAWW.

I'm going to see Saxon, Magnum and Diamond Head at Ull City Hall next week. I suspect it's still 1981 in Ull and the spirit of NWOBHM is still strong. So strong in fact, that I'll get all my flowing locks back as soon as I cross the city limits and my Moncler padded bomber will turn into a tatty, faded, denim cut-off, full of Deep Purple, Judas Priest, Motorhead and Iron Maiden patches. Which will be nice....

A lot of clubs are expensive nowadays though, Leeds Unite, Aston Vill and Sheffield Wednesda to name a few.

I read this & thought “what the fuck is he on about?”.
Wasn’t ‘til I got to page 2 & saw the title of the thread again I realised what you did there.
Very good.
I like.
