doubt it, just read Johnson's comments about our current situation on their OS. Seems to think Blackie is using injuries as an easy excuse.
 
Have to say, I really do like listening to Johnson. He is one of the few people who say it as is where SUFC are concerned.

Yep... someone who lives 300 miles away knows more about United than the people who deal with the players everyday and the fans who watch them every week ;)
 
Unfortunately johnsons article on there OS is absolutely spot on, funny how he can see how much blackie uses the loan system and the injuries as an excuse.

Haven't you heard Linz? To be true supporter, its not enough to slag off everything about the club you say you support anymore. You have to give a 'whoop-whoop' to anyone else who slags off your club too. I mean if Gary Johnson says its true, then how can we believe what our own eyes have revealed to us. God bless Gary for forcing the truth on us.

You are in danger of slipping to the status of a 'part-timer'. One of those people who know f-all about f-all, and obviously can't follow the angry lynch mob for toffee. I don't suppose it helps being a girl either, with all those distractions like shoes and things.

There is only one solution for you. Can I suggest that you retire to a darked room and repeat the true supporters mantra.

Sorry - didn't mean to quote to myself, but in answer to Soton - yes I'd have him above Blackwell anyday. Not first choice but he'd love our resources (even though he thinks we're skint!!)

I think Johnson's comments about United and Blackwell have been spot on.
 
Blackwell can hug him, kiss him, squeeze him, please him and even shag him if we get three points. I don't really care what the opposition manager says about United, if it's either true or total bollocks. He's not our manager, so he can venture through the door marked "Do One".

All in all Duncs, I think that is very poor and very childish - but there's only one set of adolescents on here isn't there.

Johnsons makes a perfectly valid comment - fans comment on it because it is SUFC related - what is the problem? He has a point, just like you do if you think injuries have been a proper excuse.

Supporting a football club is more complicated than that for me. It is perfectly possible to dislike the manager, think the chairman has property more than football on his mind, think certain players are rubbish and still want the club to win and be very happy when they do. Talking about these things is what football is all about. Going over the top (which we all can do) and saying people hate eachother and the people involved in our club is not what football is all about - even if it is some attempt at a joke.
 
The funny thing is that throughout the "Saturdays game" thread, a lot of the Blackwell out brigade were stating that anything less than a win won't be acceptable.

Yet the same people are saying how good a manager he is compared to Blackie.

Does that mean that his team are awful (his team)and lacks the quality that we have? In that case then how is he could he be an adequate replacement for Blackie. We have no money to spend.

Personally I like Johnson as a manager, but I think he spouts a lot of shite and makes rash statements... something similar to our present manager. I also think they haven't really built on the potential they showed a couple of seasons back. But I don't know why as I don't see much of them. Nowadays they just come across as boring and spiritless
 

It's good to speculate who will take over from Blackwell when he eventually either resigns or is fired and no manager, whether employed or not, should be discounted!
However, much to the delight of DD, Swiss, Come from Away, Boo and all the Posi -Drives I believe that Blackwell will be in a job with the Blades until at least the end of the season!
Much to my dismay, we will have to put up with Blackwells excuses, until May next year at least!!!!! - Roll on summer

The sad bit is how many posters would rather believe this crap primarily for their own agendas, rather than what can be clearly seen for fact.

Is this the Johnson who slagged us off for looking at McIndoe assused us of being skint and upsetting him when he never wanted to leave ,and he would be signing a new contract and staying at Ashton Gate where he was always wanted ?

Swiss you are spot on and I mentioned this on that other thread earlier today.

Johnson should concentrate on his own team rather than worry himself with goings on at Sheffield United.
