£28.50 I believe for them to get in for the game on September 13th, I have to agree somewhat they should be lowered to League One prices, its a killer for the smaller clubs i.e Huddersfield/Wendy.

Agree/Disagree?

The price is a disgrace - but we paid £25 to get into the excuse of a ground that is Boundary Park! Too much, either way.

Isnt that what it will be for our fans as well though ?

Totally agree with them. Hope they manage a successful boycott, and not because an empty away end should help us get a result.

There isn't that much different between that and what we get charged away.

Local derby, demand for away tickets will be high. Alternative would be to charge £20 and give them the upper tier too.

indeed it should.. in fact.. up the boycott :D

Mica going for the being a bellend tactic, new season same shite.

Tranmere £22
Oldham £25

Next please.

Isn't it standing only at Yeovil?

Yes apart from for families. So you have to pay more than £16, plus there are only 500 of them.
So broadly yes, £16 for standing tickets.

Totally agree, £28.50 is outrageous. However, looking at their ticket prices on the link above, we are going to pay at least £25 ourselves, if not £28. We shouldn't be paying more than £20 for match tickets at this level. So, Huddersfield fans, get your own house in order before you start gobbing off about ticket prices that are exactly in the same ball park as your own - and you have been in the bottom two divisions for 10 years.

It is the same £16 quid to sit down, yes it is a family only section but it is the same and you are wrong, simple as that. Get yer facts right Flat lad if you are being so forthright.

And only bellends would think £22 is similar to £28.50.

Yeovil could have charged us £20 say but haven't and I still think people would say decent value - I cannot wait to stand up.

Christ, how many fans do you think Huddersfield have? £20 lower tier, simple as that. If they want more, thne quite clearly they can have em.

It £16 to sit down, but only for families so you have to buy more than one ticket softlad. It was explained but you obviously opted not to read it.

I'll refer you to my original comment which you decided to quote

They are charging within a few pounds of what we are and its isn't even a local derby.
Neither of those games are local, neither are going to have lots of demand and yet they are within a few pounds of our prices.

The only person who said it was similar is yourself. If the bellend fits.......

No they couldn't, not if it fell outside of the 10% rule.

You have got to be kidding Bob lad. You siad ' there isn't that much difference between that (28.50) and what we get charged away'. Am I going daft? £22, £16 and £25 from 3 away games so far.

Simple fact is you were indicating that £22 is similar to £28.50. It isn't. Tranmere is good value, slightly on the high side to be great value but perfectly reasonable. We are ripping Huddersfield fans off. Yeovil is unbelievably good value imo.

I should spell these things out but I would charge Huddersfield and all away fans £20 if I could. Is that within 10% of our lowest price for a Cat A game?

I copied the wrong quote, I was refering to where you said Yovil could charge £20. They couldn't if it fell outside of the 10% which I think it would.

If you think a fiver here or there is a huge difference then fair enough, I think your wrong.
I bet we get charged £25 plenty of time this season, and I bet Huddersfield are one of the ones who do.

I don't think any football fan would disagree that ticket prices are too high... but while our prices are at the top end, they aren't completely out of the way of the rest of the league, Huddersfield included looking at that link.

As a travelling fan, I'd love there to be a flat £20 price for away fans regardless of the category. But how many home fans would jump into the away end? Would the Police be enamoured with the thought of more fans travelling... meaning more kick off time changes? We'd have to meet the cost of extra Police and stewarding.

Fact of the matter is, our category B and C prices are very reasonable... it's just our Cat As that look a bit scary.

Some of the things people argue about on here!

Bottom line is football tickets are too dear, but if supporters want to go they will usually pay to do so.

People have a choice. If they dont want to spend it they dont have to. Most of those complaining will end up going.

I have a policy of not attending any away games at more than £25 a pop in the Football League (£30 in the Prem).

I stick to those thresholds as a matter of principle. That way if I've paid to go, it means I was happy to do so.

It's all a bit of a misnomer anyway. What remains of the original Bramall Lane?

On the basis of that argument you could say that the River Thames today is a different river to that which ran through London 100 years ago (or, indeed, last year - you never step in the same river twice as some Greek bloke said).

An utterly ridiculously analogy.

Before this veers wildly off-topic... can we keep this discussion about Huddersfield fans and away ticket prices please.

An utterly ridiculously analogy.

ok, so we can't say London has existed since Roman times as none of the buildings around then are around now?

If you want to be pedantic you could say "the site on which the present Bramall Lane stadium stands is the site which the longest continuous history of professional sport played on it of any site in the world", but it's much easier to say that BL is the oldest professional sports stadium in the world. People know what you mean.

I will shut up now Linz.

Some basic fact checking wouldn't go amiss
