I went to the Swindon game (I was still playing myself back then, so only got to night and early season games) and Dougie's winner is still clear in my minds eye, plus his celebration
His next game he took to shooting from wherever he got the ball, 40 yards out sometimes, they all missed.
It was a steep downhill curve from that goal..
The Flood/Brown front two (once tried in a county cup game) still brings me out in a cold sweat!

Depends on what I’m meant to be worrying about:-

If I’m worrying about not getting promoted then it’s a full Bryan Robson - it’s not going to happen, and if it did I wouldn’t remember it anyway.

If I’m worrying about getting relegated, then it’s TC or Woody - we’re better than that.

If I’m worrying that we won’t have a solid mid-table season, then it’s Werewolf Hockey or Traffic-Cone (copyright Pinchy) Nick - it won’t be pretty and it won’t be very interesting but we’ll get the job done.

Plus ca change, plus c’est la meme chose, as some Froggie writer once wrote, (hmm Froggie, the snowflakes will probably be after me now)!
