YorkBlade given your 'wow' reaction to my original post, I don't mean to seem melodramaticI'm losing Ched Evans and going into the playoffs being left with Michael O'Halloran levels of worried.
He’s never worried, he’s just confused how he got there in the first place .Oli Burke clean through on goal worried
You are spot on. Wigan, Sunderland, Stoke, Coventry...it's far too early but if we don't get it right we could become any one of these.YorkBlade given your 'wow' reaction to my original post, I don't mean to seem melodramaticlet me add a little context.
We are now, at the height of our financial and recruitment appeal. Newly relegated, one of the three new 'big boys' in the division, great infrastructure, recent PL buzz and parachute payments. We won't ever be able to attract more or spend more than we can now, and this will decline with each year and window that passes.
And yet still, we have the square root of bugger all to spend. A squad that is hampered will only get weaker, lower on confidence and lower on quality. If we can't spend now to rebuild, then when? The omens are bad.
We should be spending to rebuild and attempt an immediate return to the Prem. Norwich and Watford got it right, Fulham look to have done the same so far.
So, what's wrong with us??
Dougie Brown tried to steel my girlfriend in turnups in the day. Never liked the cunt since that!Dougie Brown... No more words needed...

Yep, I get that totally. His late goal on debut v Swindon made me think he was a great player.
I was 15.
On a scale between Lee Baxter (very worried) to Tony Currie (not worried) how worried are you?
I started the season at an Ade Akinbiyi (pretty concerned) but now I'm edging close to a full on Conor Sammon
Worse than Chris Guthrie?Yep, I get that totally.
That goal also made Brown think he was a great player too...
He wasn't...
The worst pro footballer I've seen in 60 years of watching them.
As bad as some of those names were, (and this is purely subjective), Dougie stood out for me as being totally unsuitable for the pro game.Worse than Chris Guthrie?
Nyron?
Jostein Flo? Hammond?
He ended up playing in Australia like Uncle Nick many moons later. As bad as some of those names were, (and this is purely subjective), Dougie stood out for me as being totally unsuitable for the pro game.
Im pretty sure he left us to go back to his trade as an electrician.
I didn't know that.He ended up playing in Australia like Uncle Nick many moons later.
