I have BT, went on their website logged into my account, very hard to find the link to pay for the match, it was virtually hidden as if they were trying to force you to buy another sports package.
After several attempts both using Laptop and my phone i managed create box office account, and pay for match, downloaded the bt box office sports app to phone and logged in on that, can cast from mi phone to mi telly, now i wonder where i need to place mi webcam...........

Watching subscription channels at knock down prices puts the fees up for the average punter

I'm sorry but I paid roughly £1000 every year for 12 years all for what ,the same movies every night the same old teams on sky sports and not much else really , do you really think the prices are high because of people finding cheaper and better avenues to watch there entertainment, I think youd be paying the same regardless. I'd rather go with out than pay for that shower of shit

Not sure if you're allowed even with a vpn but Optus Sport here in Australia has every EPL game live and only about 10 quid a month. Might need an Aussie credit card to sign up but worth investigating.

The really annoying thing about this is that there's people overseas who can watch all EPL games and more for a reasonable monthly fee, yet we get ripped off and can only watch games as dictated by Sky or BT!

Normally yes, but checked my box here in cyprus and our games not on today.

Annoyingly to reduce people streaming games illegally from overseas to the uk they’ve blocked out the English language option on premier league games (cup games still have the option)

Here in cyprus I pay €90 for 50Mbps internet, mobile phone contract, landline and tv with all premier league, championship, F1, Eurosport etc, it’s increased a fair bit over the last year but the value is still good and I have all the channels in one package, unlike sky

I’m now going to cancel my subscription so they will lose money assuming others do the same. They also make it incredibly hard to find out what is actually going on. Clueless way to run a business.

I cancelled my Sky Sports (£25 pm) via NowTV and won't be paying any PPV charges.
If everybody makes a stand it will be reviewed/reduced.
I really want to watch the games but in its current format its grossly unfair on the lower clubs

It's a fucking joke that I get the match free in France, well my 20 euro monthly subscription to rmc sport, and fans at home are having to pay 15 bloody quid just for one match

Actually it's bizarre to me that for 20 quid a month I get every single Premier league game live

I'm not complaining for my situation obviously it's a godsend, but something needs to be looked into how this can be fair

Crazy that people still pay full subscriptions for sky bt ect when there are so many ways of watching every sporting event under the sun for a fraction of the cost , I pay £40 for a 6 month subscription that includes all sky channels all bt ,all middle east sports channels, American channels including movies entertainment ect , all box off events(boxing) included in that too .this is my view for the afternoon

It looks complicated doesn't it. I've just tried to purchase via SkyQ, and it has to be done via BT. The BT website is trying to sell me a monthly sports package. I don't mind paying the £15 (the train fare costs me £32 for the home games), but it looks doomed to not work. Think I'll stream it for free, as I'd rather do that than kick the TV in frustration after paying £15 to find it doesn't work.

I’m sure you’ll be able to buy the match as a one off, I found it quite difficult as I had to register through my iPad then pay on there, it took about ten minutes once I’d spoken to an advisor at BT.
I just think that if they want our cash it should be so much simpler, but that’s their problem if people give up because it’s too much buggering about.

Lol. So that I understand....to watch on the BT ppv you have to have the full BT sport package and then pay the £15 on top?

We cancelled our BT a while ago but I was under the impression that anyone could sign up on an app and pay £15. If not, it's an even bigger rip off than I thought.

Rare I cut my nose off to spite my face but as someone who's had a season ticket for 30 odd years and been to at least 75% of our matches in that time, I refuse to pay the £15 purely on principal.

Found a way to watch it today (so far anyway) but who knows in future.

I watched the game today, for free, on a perfectly acceptable illegal stream so have no regrets about cancelling my Sky (Now TV) and BT Sport subscription.
So, fuck you BT and your rip off!

I did as well. Good quality,few adverts, but no buffering.
I'd like to bet that the revenue from Ppv have been minimal and loads will have cancelled their SS and BT subs.
Don't honestly think that it's been realised that the cost is ridiculous for some clubs fans.
