Stegosaurus. No one has ever heard the name of your tin pot club outside Sheffield with your stadium of rust that's 50 years out of date. You got lucky in the playoff final.
So don't come on this forum spouting your Shit. Your silly deluded little man/woman. By the way, Mind The Gap wendyfan.UTB.

Been wanting to say in response to the OP, Billy will be the one scoring lots of goals for another team next season. Bit of flippancy there but in truth without the pressure of his home club fans and if he really wants to play as long as he can, he should get a pot full of goals wherever he ends up. Bit like Sherringham

Cometh the hour Cometh the man, Billy's time was what we needed when we needed it, for our shameful years in the lower leagues. Though, on a list of all time United top scorers in the top tier, he doesn't feature: https://www.worldfootball.net/alltime_goalgetter/eng-premier-league/tore/sheffield-united/1/

Perhaps a reason for our doldrum time is, there is no visual recognition of the excellence of Harry Johnson's 201 in 313 games, Jimmy Dunne's 143 in 173 or Fred Tunstall's 129 plus winning the cup and captaining England.
If we used Billy's current legacy and created a Sharp shrine as a tribute to all our heroes phenomenal achievements. the next Billy will be inspired to match those legends dedication, and just maybe we might win another trophy...

So the suggestion is, if we had more statues of the best forwards we’ve had we are more likely to be successful? And would we stop letting them in if there was a Harry Thickett shrine and a huge Fatty Foulke sculpture in the shape of a pie. Btw I don’t like statues.

Nothing…Not yet anyway.
It not inconceivable he could come with another team and knock us out of the FA cup, scoring the winning goal in front of the…Billy Sharp Kop. That would be weird.
Personally, I’ve always thought statues should be for the dead. If Woody, Eddie and Badge can’t get one, I don’t think a man still alive in his 30s should have one either.

Said this the other day. If he signs for Derby or Mittwoch (stranger things have happened) and then scores against us infront of the 'Billy Sharp Kop'...Watching Jimmy Anderson bowl from the Jimmy Anderson End at Old Trafford feels wrong.

Plus, as much as he's been great, in the cold light of day does his career warrant a statue/stand name?? Tin Hat firmly on...
