How much of a difference would it make if all of our fans join together in blind loyalty for Wilder

I want it so fucking much, it breaks my heart when we get to times like this and I can see the excuses stacking up.

I want to go to the Reebok with them thinking "Sheff Utd have bought some reyt players this close season and we're gonna get bummed endwards"

pommpey

If your going to the Reebok fuck Macron) you can expect Apes on Horses, and if your really lucky, Charlton Heston fighting them.

IF we've got a team full of players who get twitchy at the first sign or sound of fan unrest, get the fuck out of Sheffield United.
already on their way out (if anyone'll take 'em)

Whilst this O.P. was a serious one, I did expect to be flayed alive and yet that didn't happen so much and is very encouraging.

To me it shows there is a mood of 'fresh start', 'let's get behind the new manager' and there might even be an appetite for clapper sticks!!- in S2, give over!!:p

Unity under Wilder could just happen and then we can start enjoying ourselves after years of misery. I'm sure Wilder will provide teams who give maximum effort and look to be positive. Bring it on!!

WWF - no Blade wants Wilder to fail. If we don't all agree on many things, I'm convinced we all agree on that.

We have a few on here who have a different agenda.

The rest of us have to become a lot more pro-active IMO. More of the same by us fans is not enough.

Wilder is our type of bloke and a Blade, we should do all we can to help him - every game we attend.

I wouldn't judge our support based the occasional troll.

Amazing how much noise those occasional trolls make booing our players, however poor those players are, they are OUR players.

Boo them on match days and spend every opportunity to undermine them each day of the week on here. When they leave they suggest they should "clean up pigeon shit on MacDonalds car park", "wankers", "wage thieves" and so on. Wonder what they have to say about anybody not on our side?.

Martin O'Neill never tired of referring to our win there in 1996 when they smashed windows and booed him and the team.

They got promoted anyway.

It's easy to cheer if there's something to cheer.
This. They were calling for him to be sacked after that game.

United fans are chippy and grumpy cause we keep getting shit served up in front of us despite our fantastic support. If Chris gets it 70% right, the fans will help him out. Over to Chris.

dont we all

surely its every blades fans duty to support a new manager from the off , , even if its begrudgingly as we havent employed pep Guardiola

not add caveats before we kick a ball in anger

I wasnt fully convinced about Adkins but got behind him till it was obvious he was inadequate

'He' was inadequate? What about the shower of shit out on the pitch?

Whatever happens this season, I will boo until my throat is sore. I'm a blade and I pay my hard earned money for the right to boo. Yes it looks weird when we're playing well and winning games, but I'm a man of principle.

Agreed, we work hard all week, why not get your money's worth? I often BOO at that bloke who comes round saying "three pound your match programs, match programs three pounds" Booo!!!!!!!

Why doesn't that fucker realise that he's in a falling market and cut his prices to avoid getting stuck with a pile of outdated paper ? Today's programme is tomorrow's useless stock. Boo to £3 !
After 3pm he should be shouting "no reasonable offer refused" , the plant cost of a programme is small and has already been wasted if not sold on the day !

Kind of tells the story. Fans used to support, nowadays they just criticise. Sad.

No they didn't. As far back as the earliest games I went to, I remember poor play being rewarded with being booed. I remember the team trudging off a muddy Bramall Lane pitch having being roundly fucked in the ass five nowt by Arsenal to a cacophony of boos and whistles and deservedly so. They were outclassed and played like donkeys. Different story a year later when they reversed the score and made Arsenal look shockingly poor. The Lane was alive that night.

And OP might want to take his detractors off ignore to gauge the measure of response.

I've started booing already. Get some funny looks at work but they can fuck right off.
