Actually, it has. Up to the point Ings and Cannon went off we were terrible.
We were gifted back into the game with some of the most inept defending from a corner you could ever see by a professional team. Up to that moment it had looked like we were probably going to concede a 2nd.
After our equaliser Blackburn fell to pieces and some confidence did at least return to our own play, not least the 2nd goal, but the game was still in the balance till injury time.
Anyone thinking the tide has somehow turned already is jumping the gun. We still look like a bog-standard Championship side with little invention and a defence that could go AWOL at any moment.
A welcome result, on its own, doesn't mean there are no issues. The general standard of our play is still rotten.
Thread started during the game when we were losing a game 1-0 in which we came back and won 1-3...
Gifted or not, we got back into the game.
Cannon and Ings got good minutes in their legs and allowed us to use the squad
3 points and 3 goals. Wilder has taken 9 points and moved us off the bottom of the the league in the last 2 games since he's had time to work with the squad in the international break.
Of course there are still issues. The manager inherited a mess and doesn't have all the players he needs right now
