Looking for any local knowledge or if anyone has any ideas... we're looking for a hotel for the Swansea game at the end of the month. Obviously, the cheaper the better as it leaves more cash for beer money.

All the usual suspects for cheap hotel rooms (Travelodge etc.) are around the £50 mark, which isn't expensive for a hotel, but it is expensive for a Travelodge!

Anyone got any ideas? Laterooms, lastminute and all them aren't giving me anything.

Beer money:D:D

Dunno much about the travel lodges and stuff around there.

There are a couple of hotels down on the S1 waterfront, Village and Ibis. For your weekend, Village is £59 room only and Ibis £51....we got a special offer there last year for £38, you could call them and see if they have a better rate. Both hotels just about walkable from town, and about 1 mile from Liberty stadium, both just off main road into town.

Cheers guys... a bit of creative thinking got me sorted though.

We're staying in a holiday cottage in Bridgend that works out at £35 per person for two nights seeing as there's five of us sharing. A bit daft that you can get a whole house cheaper for the whole weekend than you can a dingy hotel room for one night. Looks quite swish too.

The only issue is... two nights in the pub and only one toilet

Watch out for Bridgend blade Wayne, Welsh blades ran a bus from Tenby last season, few of us stayed in Saundersfoot, @ Malin House Hotel owned by blades. Its on the coast but 75-90 min past Swansea.
