Nicked this from Unitedite, but according to the Coventry Evening Telegraph, Coventry want Horsfield. Now if we could work out a swap deal for McSheffrey, I'd be right chuffed. :D

Yea be a great bit of business and then we wont of made a loss on horsfield. Feel abit sorry for horsfield though to be bought and then been told it was a mistake.

Horsfield been linked to Sunderland and Preston today in the papers. :D
Interesting duo, first of all Sunderland took Gray off our hands for a cool £1 million last season and look how well we did without him, and we signed Davis from Preston and perhaps would be very keen on doing another bit of business with us.

Not £1m that Sunderland paid us in the end though because it was £500k plus extra for staying up, extra after so many appearances and extra if he scored so many goals.
Still not bad though. :D

Well now, looks like my idea's coming true, if we can pull this off and get McSheffrey in and Horsfield to Coventry even on loan, this will be one of the best ever pieces of business we've ever done. :)

To be perfectly honest mate, though McSheffrey would be a decent signing, I wouldn't go anywhere near that far lol

So you recon paying in excess of £4million (if they even decide to sell at all for anything under insane money) for McSheffrey, who has had 4 career premiership starts and never moved clubs, is more successful as a striker than a winger, is banned for th start of the season and is mid twenties thus meaning in your eyes a downer to the academy..... would be up with our best ever pieces of business?

I have no doubt he's a good player and he's always been one player I've liked/would be happy with us signing, but to suggest it'd be one of our greatest pieces of business is laughable.

Strong claim as best bit of business ever when Deano cost peanuts from Donny!!

Not forgetting of course 20K for the great TC!

Wouldn't get into the top 10 best deals IMHO.

They can give us our money back then! :D

That or a decent player in return (do they have any left) :D

According to this He is having talks with Sunderland over the next couple of days

However, according to this Nail Quinn is not interested and wants to bring back Kevin Phillips to the Stadium of light with Horsefield going back to West Brom

Michael Brown was one of the best bits of business we ever did. The money we must have gained from his goals alone must have been in the millions!

Ndlovu wasn't a bad bit of business either :D
