Often when managers leave and a new one steps in you enjoy a period of better performances and pick up more points. This never happened with Speed becasue he was appointed from within which meant the players never saw a massive change - this is ok when the team is doing well and the manager has left for another job, clearly this wasn't true in our case.

Hopefully Birch will see this and not look at Carver/Ellis and look for an experienced man, couldn't give a damn who it is they'll get my support no matter what but the players need a rocket up their backsides as time isn't on our sides.

Then again we did win Speed's 2nd, 3rd and 5th games. As I've said elsewhere, the Scunny reversal in his 4th game did more damage than people think IMO.

Players are always out to impress a new boss but the problem will be, he will only be picking from the same 16 or 17 players.

But the way the teams rolls over when we can sense its not our day is unbelieveable, yes the players aren't great but neither are Scunnys/Millwalls/Donnys, but the difference being their managers have a way of getting the best from their players and don't have to be spoon fed.
