Just thought of that time where we named the BL stand 'The Jess Ennis Stand', and then she didn't even show for the opening, or for that matter, any games after either...

oh yeah... and then she requested the club to take her name off due to the Ched Evans scandal.

There were a few low points that stuck out in our time in League One, i think this one of them.

Yeah I remember that she was like a very poor Brittany Spears copy. She changed a bit since then, her only "hit" if you can call it that.

I was working with a producer very recently who told me that Sean Bean was fucking ace to work with but the one thing he absolutely insisted on having written into his contract was not working on a day when United were at home...he would happily be taken straight from the Lane to a set somewhere, but not until after a home game had finished.

Does anyone remember a game where a girl band called Tri-angle came on either before or at half time. It was either the late nineties, or early 2000s.

I remember the tannoy announcement so clearly, but hardly anything else and it's been that long it's getting vague and maybe I dreamt it.

They were shite if that helps.

Wasn’t it all a hoax by the Cook Report to show how the charts were fixed? - so they made up a deliberately rubbish new pop star and showed how they could get it into the charts. Except from what I remember the whole thing fell on its face a bit because the record never even got to the top 40.
