Saw a few shirts and scarves in bars in Ibiza, but other than the Blades I already knew, I only spied one I didn't as previously mentioned

Thankfully saw no pigs, but the second to last day a family of Leeds fans, who epitomised chav... it was almost comedy sketch territory.

Went last year & saw a few Blades there. Top weekend, wish I was going back this year

I was there last year, with a couple of other Blades. One was wearing his shirt a bit, so might have been us. We put a few Blades stickers up around the place as well (after seeking permission)

It's really fucking hot out there. I know that might be an obvious thing. But it's really fucking hot. Don't under estimate it, drink lots of water and take it easy. When I went to Beni, I didn't even use my tent, because fuck sleeping in there. I slept on an air bed outside. They have these sheets hung over the camp site to give you shade, so you can sleep outside, no problem. There's a water park nearby, it's 20 Euros per person for an all day pass, I recommend going there to pass the time and cool down at least one day.

Benicassim is really cool. The town itself is this little Mediterranean seaside place, with bars, restaurants and a nice big beach. The bands don't start until 6pm, so every day is a sunny Spanish beach holiday. When bands start, everyone comes up through the town to the campsite. The festival site itself isn't much to write home about, it's essentially a car park, and the alcohol is ridiculously expensive. I used to buy beers from the supermarkets each day, I'd rather spend a Euro a bottle on cheap shitty lager than 7.50 on a Vodka Redbull. Headliners play at 1am, then there's always like, a "party" band on afterwards. The music usually stops around 5am.

Me and some friends did Glastonbury this year, and I loved it. It was my 5th time tho, so I wanna go elsewhere next year. I've been pushing for Benicassim, it's well worth it.

I would fancy Benicassim, but i have had a rare moment of stupidity/inspiration and booked myself a weekend in Las Vegas at the Life is Beautiful festival.
