I'm pissed off just like everyone else tonight. Some promising patches of play in the first half aside, we were poor and looked less likely to score as the game wore on.

That said, now is NOT the time for the 'woe is me' threads.

Wilder got us top so give him chance to put it right. Stop all this bollocks about wholesale change / hanging McNulty / sending EEL back and take a breath.

It is only January and we are still in a great position. Some on here need to wind their necks in
Stop moaning like spoilt kids and start behaving as supporters of the team and not keyboard critics.

I agree with what your saying . But under no circumstances should sparky have started tonight

Guilty as charged. Just got back to Leicester and I'm still fuming at that performance. Be oreyt tomorrow. UTB

I think somethings has gone awry. Letting in that late goal after bettering Southend seems to have wrecked 2 or 3 players. I wonder if they were starting to believe their own publicity?

Time now for Chris to live up to his top billing and I'm sure that he will. I do wonder if teams have sussed that we've got nobody to run at the defence and rely almost totally to getting it wide and then crosses to 5' 8 strikers. It's took them long enough if that's the case. But of course in Carruthers, Riley and O'Shea we DO have players who can run at defences and also score from distance, and Hanson will give us completely different attacking options.

I wonder if Chris actually anticipated this 'blip'? I that's the case, the next question is who do we drop?
