Hello, first timer here, although used to read BU with interest.
Been a Blade since 1971 when I went to watch the last match
of the season 3-0 win against Watford to gain promotion.
Will never forget climbing the stairs at the back of the kop
to see a brilliant sea of green grass shimmering in the May sun.
Thats it I was hooked, and although I've been disapponted
many many times I still have to go. Not really looking forward
to Friday as I hate derby games but I think this time we will win
(How many times have I thought that before!!)

I remember that game - was in my first season too. I was at the front of the lower teir at the Bramall Lane end.
