My first game at Bramall Lane was in 1971 v Cardiff (a long story but changed my life).

In the early 80’s I went to LA a lot and got hooked on the LA/Oakland/Las Vegas Raiders.

These are different stories with a common question - what do I want, more than 50 years on?

The NFL system - no relegations - means no Givens, but no Darlingtons or Leicester moments.

The above shit has really been the central thread of my life, after family and work - having lived outside Sheffield since late 1977.

My overall emotion is that the Blades and Raider Nation are like families - you can’t choose them but they are always there below the surface. The journey is about the belonging.

My Grandad said “Enough is the most powerful word in the world”.

I have enough - but we just need to trade for Fields, draft Jeanty, buy Choudhury ….!!!
