Make no mistake about it, this club will never again rely on loan players. Make no mistake about it, we are serious about winning promotion. The thought that losing one midfielder for 4 weeks, or a couple of red cards will ruin our season is utterly ludicrous - certainly won't happen on my watch. We made mistakes in the past and they won't be repeated.

Make no mistake about it folks - the club is incredibly fragile, zero leadership, zero hope for future and zero hope of being a meaningful player in English football whilst ever we have a property speculator in charge. And yet plenty seem set fair, happy to accept a prolonged stay in the pub league - never mind it is just one of those things.

kin ell Mic.

Keep the faith.

........
Promotion is soon.
You Night Edd

All together now :)

Although its a tad harsh i think Mic has a point.
If we dont go up this season then we could stay here for many years to come.
Next year the financial fair play rules would kick in & most of our 'better' players would walk. Leaving another rebuilding job

When are we relying on loan players? That Egan lad probably won't start another game for us, and I'd imagine hill will simply be back up for the rest of the season. Tuesday was a freak, brought on by a perfect storm of injuries, personal circumstances and indiscipline.

It's certainly far far removed from the days when our entire back four were loanees.

Chill the fuck out. :)

We all understand Mic's frustrations, but still 12 games to go, we are second in the league with a game in hand and all players back for Saturday. . Keep he faith.

Amen to that

Total over reaction to the situation

I must say we needed to sign a defender in the transfer window as this is where we were very vulnerable
Hopefully we will have a back four on Saturday with zero loan players in

Once we assume that the management team doesn't believe that any of the development players are good enough / ready for first team action, the choice in January was to sign someone on a permanent contract or rely on the loan market should we need to.

I've no complaints with how we reacted to the circumstances on Tuesday; that might change if all the United players are back but we choose to play the loanees ahead of them.

Opportunity Missed

I think Tuesday was a missed opportunity.

Why throw a set of loanees together, we could have blooded Terry Kennedy and Connor Brown or another defender from the youth/reserve team. They would have probably played together before so communication/positioning would have been ok.

We ended playing a full back at centre back whose mistakes were crucial and Ertl at right back, where he has been abysmal in the past.

It didn't work and we missed the opportunity of finding out more whether these youngsters are good enough. Anyway at least we enhanced our role as Blackpool FCs nursery team.

And theres a large queue of prospective owners who would be better than McKabe all lining up to take charge of united isnt there Mic?

Bloody hell, it was bliss wasn't it? From the middle of November, we'd won 14 from 16 league games. Then we lose three in a row and suddenly all the scum starts seeping from the edges. If you are pigs then congratulations on some fine trollsmanship but if not... then you should be ashamed of yourselves.

We havent even lost 3 in a row Tarquin ,put it down to attention seeking.

Only got as far as the first word then collapsed in fits of hysterical laughter , top stuff mic keep it up
I'm off to write a boring analogy about my shed wrote in Barnsley dialect and with the sole intention of causing brain damage

Does Mic ever post anything positive? Why are some United fans so bloody pessimistic!

Mmmm, perhaps because we've gone from a perceived position of unassailability to one of finger nail biting in a matter of days. This has coincided with our best player being absent with no definite return date available.
That might not worry some people but it certainly will others.

Papers and such like publish "current form" tables for a reason and if you start sliding down that then it will probably mean you end up sliding down the real table.

I'd rather have someone like Balram Chanrai, Andrei Gaydamark, Thaksin Sinawatara, Craig Whyte as chairman, at least they know how to spend money.

Is Micaljo Lenners in disguise? Walks in, spouts off a load of negative comments, stirs it up and waits for people to respond to the nonsense.

I started compiling a response earlier about how Mic has been hidden under a rock on these subjects all season, but couldn't be arsed. Not even bothered reading any responses.

He's just looking for a reaction and two pages presumably means that he got one, so I have no business here today :)

Edit - the fact that I replied doesn't constitute a reaction, i'm just saying...

He's Len-lite.

The irony of this thread is that he'd started one about how rubbish Simmo is and broomhillblade goaded him by accusing im of losing his grip by not mentioning McCabe in that thread. Hey presto, up pops another in a long line of his repetitive and tedious swipes at McCabe, very pavlovian.

I blame broomers.

wow, 17 replies before the our favourite learning disabilities, potty mouthed scouser bites to some of Mic's bait. Not sure what the KOC has to do with this and why our intelectually challenged Liverpudlian feels the need to say something about it. Guess it is just another pathetic, tragic and extremely unhealthy obsession. No swear words this time though, which is a refreshing change. Many might actually question whether poor old judgey had brain damage long before Barnsley's most under appreicated coming genius started littering the forum with methaphors. Or perhaps Ollessendro's metaphors were too much for a scouser with an IQ of 45 to handle and that is what turned his brain to goo and his mouth absolutely and utterly vile.

Personally I view poorly written arguments and spelling mistakes as being far worse than swear words. Call it the original bad language, if you will.
