Here's £20m, keep us up.

Itsy. I've included you in this because I'm concerned about your friend's way of life and state of mind. What irony.

You aren't concerned at all. It's just an excuse to cover up the points I've made about your inability to take on board facts as opposed to spouting your inane ramblings and made up figures. You have form for these grand pronouncements which turn out to be total nonsense. Yet you're unable to see how many posts mock you when you trundle out the latest fact free one.

Transference, l believe it's called, although unlike you, l'm not an expert on the subject of mental health.

The key is making the budget available to spend in time for the players to settle in before the start of the season.

£80m is a pipe-dream with the owners in High Court and both hoping to leave the club a.s.a.p. £40m unlikely too.

Burnley last season. £80m wages. £80m transfer fees.

I actually think Wilder would find that obscene and putting at risk his dressing room unity. There's a balance he will strike.
haha .. Burnley haven't spent 80 million in their entire existence :D

Wouldn't all of this be better conducted via PM, boys? It's infected various posts over the last few days, adds nothing whatsoever to the forum and gets very tedious for the rest of us. Why not just block each other if you upset each other that much?

Sean. This is Your Life.

Being on here all day every day is not healthy.

Trust me, he's never been better, but regarding yourself, well I stand by my post and suggest you take a long hard look in the nearest mirror.

You're a word trickster, you tangle the intentions of someone who thinks differently to yourself and attempt to confuse or discombobulate, thus layering the initial exchange until the real reason is no longer visible. It's an old ploy, but one that's been shown for what it is, it's unpleasant, unproductive, and adds nothing at all to the general discussion. It's time you took a step back, attempt to look deep inside, you've no need to play 'victim', it comes naturally to you.

Most importantly, try and understand the difference between criticism and a personal attack. That's a good starting point, give it a go.

WE just need to sign somebody so we can talk about something (not including Hendo on loan) can't United see that?

edit: if we can just make it to fixture release on Thursday with nobody killing someone

How about you mind your own business about what I do. It's no concern of yours is it, and I don't need advice from someone who doesn't live in the real world as far as Sheffield United goes. Or now Burnley, for that matter.

Yet again you struggle with facts and to cover fantasise about my mental health when you should actually be considering your own as a priority.

You're either lonely or have a worrying psychological issue. A serious piece of advice, it might help expunge your devils - see an analyst. The first one may not be the one for you, but keep on until you meet someone who can correctly identify what ails you. I'd do it for you but I'm currently writing a blog about the world at large. You're not included simply because you don't have much else to offer than wear the mask of amateur comic fool. You've got some way to go before the world recognises you as the illustrious influencer you seem intent on becoming.

Such irony.

Such irony.

Which just underlines how little self-awareness you possess.

There was no irony in my post, but of course, given your need to voice your own imagined superiority you choose to flip this over and believe that a pithy response will show just how much of a wag you are. Of course you're nothing of the sort, but given your inability to listen and accept good advice there's no surprise just how limited your posts continue to be.

Wag? The above two word answer shows what kind of wag I am?

You two pals seem remarkably well matched. Pleased for you both.

Back to the original question, I'd say if we can get the guy from West Brom and say Ollie Watkins I reckon that might have to do. If we can get Hendo obviously, feels like a big if at the moment though...

20m is disgrace you have to think if the 2 chairman care about united etc

Why you feel the need to include another poster in this is, probably understandably, puzzling. Again, your failure to address any point made, or even accept that you fall short on many counts, is swept aside with a rather pitiful display of bravado.

Saying "I'm wrong" might actually bring about one of those rare Damascene moments, and in the process begin to build bridges, but for that to happen you would need to be in possession of the sort of wisdom that, so far, has been conspicuous by it's absence.

You're not by any chance related to the Prince?

And the 'wag' bit?

Such irony.

I need to understand so I can tackle those demons.

I need to understand so I can tackle those demons.

Silence is the first step towards redemption, an initial 3-6 months of saying nothing and listening is appropriate given just how long you've adopted the role of provocateur without learning a great deal. Anything less and those demons will have taken you to places that even I wouldn't wish upon someone so in need.

For 10 months I've just done exactly that. And here we are again, just as if nothing has changed.

Now I know you're not Sean, he'll know how long I rested, to the day.

Now what about that learned 'wag' pronouncement. I'll take it as nonsense-speak.

You're demonstrating the type of obsession that is integral to your overall behaviour. By addressing a poster as if they're obligated to reply you're revealing the most unpleasant of qualities. The thing that underpins this is insecurity. It's as clear as day, so stop with immediate effect.

Try and appreciate that you aren't Lord and Master on here. I know it's a behaviour trait you're used to but it has no place in a civilised and mature place of discussion. Do you think you can do that, do you???

Any further signs of obsession will only confirm my worst fears. Just imagine a world where you actually felt less put upon, wouldn't that be nice? It's all down to you, can you make that effort?

Judge here, a cautionary word of advice...zip it Georgie boy. Any further fish inspired contributions and you'll be well and truly battered.

In the middle of all this wag nonsense you go and crack a funny all of a sudden.

Take my advice - Stick to the world blog:).

Yes, in case you hadn't noticed, it's a talent for being able to do more than one thing at once.

As for your advice, the moment you begin to listen rather than pontificate, that's the day you'll begin to show you're willing to listen.

You are so similar to your pal. Best wishes Fellow Blade.

Wilder won’t want to risk signing a £12 million player because the worst case scenario is really bad. If we go down and have a flop on 70k a week 4 year deal, we’re in trouble. Wilder will want value for money and will think outside the box to get what we need. For example (and I don’t think for a minute we’d do this but) Andy Carroll and Daniel Sturridge sign on frees, pay them 200k a game each and 50k a goal. If they’re crocks they’ve cost us nothing and we’d go down but nobody can say we didn’t sign big names. If they stay fit and play 30 games each and score 15 each we’d have to fork out £13.5 million in wages but nothing in transfers after finishing about 11th. They’d probably start upfront together for England in the euros next year if they did. Then would everyone on here be saying ‘£20 million is nowhere near enough!’ The figure is irrelevant; it’s the player you should be focusing on.

Wilder may end up paying for a £12m player but he won’t be paying them £70k a week.
And if he’s buying a player for £12m he’ll be proven at championship level so if we do go down, he’d be playing at a level he can play at, irrespective of how good he was at PL level.

Our wage bill this season is very unlikely to exceed what we could cover with parachute payments should be be relegated.

And presumably salaries can be arranged to take relegation into account?
