He will sit on the story til he needs some more money.
Do you not see the small flaw in that?
He can wait and assume people will want to listen.
On the Undr The Cosh podcast most our former players other than I think Kilgallon all disliked Blackwell when they talked about him.
Saw clip last week from Glen Little who said Blackwell was the worst manager he'd had in his whole career, had non league managers who we're better. On the Undr The Cosh podcast most our former players other than I think Kilgallon all disliked Blackwell when they talked about him.
The interesting thing there was the related article about the worst United players of the last 20 years. Not read it yet as it's still downloading![]()
The time in which people would have given enough of a shit about what Lee Hendrie has to say about Kevin Blackwell, to be of worth to anybody has long gone.
"I have never got to tell the story, which one day I will do."
Is he waiting for Blackwell to die or something?
He possibly is given that Blackwell has launched legal action against a former player for what they wrote about Blackwell in their autobiography. I think it might have been Clarke Carlisle.
Common denominator ?
Or are they all wrong ??
Set us back 10 years. And some folks still reckon he did a decent job.

We were somewhat of a hoofball team under Colin.Robson did the real damage, Blackwell stopped the rot and did take us to a play off final (I know, the football we played was garbage) - I think he would have kept us safe and don’t blame him for the 6/7 years of shite afterwards.
Edit: sheer number of people who have worked with him who said he was a twat means that he probably was.
He stopped Robson’s rot then created his own. He took a team that could have gone up automatically to the playoffs because he was negative and played scared football. He wasted a huge amount of money on shit signings, almost none of whom had any resale value. He was an appalling manager and an appalling leader. He left us with a team absolutely devoid of creativity, full of demotivated and disinterested players on big wages, far more than they were worth, which is why we were stuck with them.Robson did the real damage, Blackwell stopped the rot and did take us to a play off final (I know, the football we played was garbage) - I think he would have kept us safe and don’t blame him for the 6/7 years of shite afterwards.
