Keepers mature later than outfield players.

Henderson is exactly what he is, young and learning. We paid £1,5m or so, thats all.

We get what we pay for, plus maybe a big return if the Mancs change managers as often and forget he's any good.

I think my point is in goal keeping terms hes still a raw recruit . It will be in Knills notes what he has to work on but you don't become the best distributor of a ball at Premier league level in 6 games. Judge him against how good P>ckfords distribution was when he'd only played 6 games at this level . As I recall wasn't that great to start with

being harsh, it’s the one part of his game Hendo must improve.. it was noticeable vs Schmichael.. his distribution is superb (like his dad tbf)

6 games, 6 goals conceded 2 clean sheets. There's a lot more to keeping but stopping the ball going into the net is priority one, not sure he'll be with us next season.

Stevens is player of season for me. Southampton managed to keep him quiet but other that, he's been immense.

When Wilder signed players back then he said he was choosing players who had a lot more to come and who could "grow with the club' and go the full journey to higher levels.

Stevens, O'Connell, Lundstram, Egan, Baldock, McGokdrick even at his age; they've all done that and everybody benefits.
