Evening all, strange request I know and I probably should have done this before Christmas but currently having a big update on the website.

Could anyone help out with the years? I believe No 5 is 1972, and No 6 is 1998

1 is 1971 (clue is Frank Barlow left us for Chesterfield in summer 1972)
3 is 1973 (clue is Tom McAlister breaking his leg in Oct 1973 and you can see his plaster cast on the card also Jim Bone played for us from Feb 1973 to Feb 1974)
5 is 1972 ( clue is Trevor Hockey left us for Norwich in Feb 1973)

Brilliant. In real life Silent you're not some kind of character from an Agatha Christe novel are you?

Don't get me started on Agatha Christie. Huge class snob. Always country houses, posh people and grand hotels. Never wrote about the goings on in a two up two down with outside toilet in Carbrook. Mind you, I suppose having Poirot being beaten up for being a Froggy bastard, Miss Marple losing her bus pass and knickers going missing of the line aren't the best plots. And where would they hold the ball, front parlour? It'd have to be as big as Ken Barlows terraced house.

I've met Silent and I must say he bares a canny resemblance to Miss Marple. Thank you for your responses. For the more modern one's I will have do some research and dig out some old Christmas Catalogues from Blades programmes. I need to get out more
