Hello,

I'm one of those new members you will be seeing here thanks to our countryman Mihkel Aksalu joining the club.

Thanks to Mart Poom, and decent Premier League coverage around here, English football is quite popular in Estonia.

I've been browsing around this forum a bit already and can say, that it seems much more mature than what I got used to at GloryHorns ;)

I'm maybe not the biggest fan of Sheffield United yet, but I would definitely like to see The Blades progressing into Premier League level again - this would upgrade me from internet streams to HD coverage :)

Best regards,

Tihane

Welcome to the forum :)

How do you rate Aksalu?

Welcome to the forum :)

How do you rate Aksalu?

Thank you.

Aksalu is quite tall 194cm (6.4 feet), but quite lightweight 79kg (174 pounds).
He commands the box well and has been spotted making quite a few reaction saves as well. As I already mentioned in another thread: he is disciplined and hard worker. He was a very good goalie for Estonian top league (but that doesn't say much ;)).

Main risks. Can be pushed around in a rough game, as he doesn't weight much. Can be shaky, due to new environment/team.

But give him a go in a low-risk match and he will settle in quickly.

hey up serry an welcum..................

did thar teck wrong turning at the tunnel ? :D

"hello from Estonia"

And for England we give.................................nil points!

Happy posting mate and if Aksalu is anywhere near as good as Poom, we're onto a winner!

And here's a little plate of 'hello' to you all:
