Should be interesting

Wes

Bogle

Bash
Eagan
Davis

Stevens

Berge
Norwood
Gibbs - White

Brewster
Mcburnie

I'd go with with that apart from McBurnie

I' rather have Ndyia / McGoldric / Mousett in that slot

But I also like the Eagan & Osborn combo on the left

I suspect that will be pretty much it.

Orders from “on high” to stem the drop in value of our most depreciated assets 😉.

Slav Knew 👀.

UTB

No issues there from me, my only wish would be to stick with a preferred line up going forward.

Yup Mousett as he cost money and the Prince wants the players we have spent big on playing so the roster isn’t devalued

thems heckys orders

The CEO demands it

No,

Because Mousett has the ability & all players must be given the chance to play in their best position, and show the new manager what they can give him
Agree
Bash will be overlapping from the moment Mousett goes off

I'd be quite happy with that. Certainly the keeper, midfield and defence.

Part of me wouldn't mind McGoldrick and Sharp. But also I'm surprised we've had so few games where McBurnie and Mousset have played together, given they were our two most expensive strikers.

Following on from that, we've not seen McBurnie and Brewster much as a pairing either.

I do wonder whether, with the rest of the team playing in more familiar roles, it may be a better platform for the strikers.

Berge and Norwood with Fleck not available would be an interesting pairing. I'd much rather have that than throwing Hourihane in there again. I think those two and MGW is a progressive midfield and does open up talk of 'the Duffy role' for MGW.

Let's see!

I wonder if we might see slater pop up in midfield Hecky knows him well and with fleck out there’s space for an aggressive ball winner.

We were talking about the line up in the pub last night and generally agree with what's been posted except up front where none of us new who would be picked,

Forgetting last season where he carried on from Wilder what sort of football does Heckingbottom like to play because he's now in charge so it's up to him, anybody remember anything from his time at Barnsley, Leeds or Hibs?

I do wonder whether he'll give Hourihane a run in a more advanced role.

Hecky has obviously bought into playing 3 at the back, if he hadn't he wouldn't be the new manager, and he wouldn't have been U23 manager for years, as the system was adopted across all age groups, will it be full on Wilderball, probably not, hopefully the penny has dropped that overlapping centrebacks works when both CBs are capable, not just one.
