I wasn't aware I could yet!

Me neither! Does that mean the prices have been announced?

I was told the voucher would be sent out later in the year to collect the free shirt. p.s It seems to cost less every year to re-new my season tkt!!!!

Any sign of the details for spreading the payments lads?

If it's anything like last season... it was summat like a £10/£15 admin charge and the press release reckons you can spread over 8 months.

I think it works out about £50 a month taking the admin charge into account.

I'm planning to pop over to the ticket office at lunchtime, so I'll see what information I can get out of them and report back :)

Okey doke... I've got mine. Was really easy - the place is empty, although there is only one member of staff on!

The details are in the Cutting Edge magazine, but for those without access to it, here you go:

Valad Stand:
Adult £379 reduced from £409/£449
Concession £229 reduced from £239/£269

Malta Family Enclosure
Adult £379 reduced from £409/£449
Concession £209 reduced from £219/£259

Evolution Family Corner
Adult £379 reduced from £409/£449
Concession £209 reduced from £219/£259

Frasers Kop
Adult £279 reduced from £299/£359
Concession £189 reduced from £199/£239

Junior 13 - Under 16 - £109 reduced from £119/£129
Junior Under 13 - £49 reduced from £59/£69

I've renewed mine in the Kop and opted for the 8 month payment plan. There's a charge of about 11 quid added to it, so on the 1st of the month from April onwards I'll pay about £36.

The vouchers for the shirt - of which there's a pic in the mag - will be sent out hopefully this week, although the shirt won't be available til September.

There are also more pics of the new home shirt in the mag, and I can confirm it's got 'BLADES' on the back of the collar in white lettering, and a solid red 'bib' to about half-way down the back, after which the stripes resume.

Hope this helps!

Any scans available?

Might be able to do one tonight, perhaps :) depends whether I get time though. There's a scan of the back of the shirt from the magazine in the New Shirt thread, I think :)

I'll scan and PDF it at some stage for ya :)

Fan Steven is first in the queue

STEVEN Pye has become the first person to reserve his Sheffield United season ticket for the 2009/10 campaign.
The 39-year-old took advantage of the club's decision to cut renewal prices by visiting Bramall Lane within minutes of the offer being announced.

Steven, a driving instructor from Woodthorpe and supporter for more than 30 years, attends games with his sons, Joe, aged 12, and Richard, 14.

He said: "It's great they are bringing prices down rather than increasing them like some clubs.

"A driving lesson was cancelled on Tuesday morning so I headed to Bramall Lane. I thought I might be one of the first to renew as I got to the ticket office as soon as it opened."

An adult season ticket for the Frasers Properties Kop is now available for £279, an overall saving of £80 based on those ticket-holders who bought at the non-discounted rate this season.

Under-13s receive a free season ticket if they enroll as a Junior Blade for £10 and are accompanied to matches by an adult holder.

Anyone renewing their season ticket before next month's deadline will also receive a free replica shirt to mark United's 120th anniversary.

The name of every player to represent the club has been woven into the jersey.

what does this make the payments then?

Scrap that, ive done the calculations for all

Renewal Price £389.00
Admin Fee £10 (Based on last season)

Total = £399.00
APR = 14.7%

Monthly Repayment (Based on 8 Months) = £52.49
Total Repayable = £419.91
Total Interest Charged = £20.91

Me & Linz sorted ours yesterday :)

Got our shirt vouchers too.

I've not had anything through the post yet :(

Should be coming soon... because the form you have to fill in and hand to the ticket office says the deadline for it is "30/04/09".

The shirt won't be on general sale until 01/12/09 and apparently ST holders can pick theirs up between some yet to be specified time in September and the 30th November, which is when the voucher runs out.

Mrs SV has declared that as my birthday present last year was a bit, well, cack, and it was my 40th (I know, me 40. And looking so youthful too) that this year's present shall be season ticket renewal paid for out of her bingo winnings.
Of course I pointed out the outcome of me not getting it renewed, namely major sulks and strops.
(I've tried domestic violence with her but she just kicks the shit out of me.)

I purchased mine yesterday before the match and now have a voucher for a free shirt.

Dingledog asked what sizes were available and I did say the biggest one was like an advert for spot the ball!

:D:D:D

sorting mine today...happy days, been 5 years since i had a season ticket, but daughters getting older and nagging me to be at every game, the boyfriend gets in free as he works on the pitch anyways...lucky get
