Have we become the new QPR?

I said after about 60 minutes we are a bit like Brentford of a few year back.
Pretty on the eye but over pass it at times and lack physicality and steel.

Promoted teams learn how to win matches when they don’t play well….that’s something we cant do yet.
At least there’s plenty of the season left and we are playing nice quick passing football.

Whilst ever we have Norwood in midfield we will be weak as piss

Shirked another tackle for there goal

Great player bad tackler

Probabally get slated for this but after they scored both me and lad said we look very weak , mainly mentally but also physically, we need someone to push us and be nasty

Guedioura maybe over Norwood, he seems like a shithouse.

All our problems come from midfield for me, we're definitely weaker defensively, especially down the left, but getting rid of Norwood is as hard as removing a wet leaf from your car bonnet, and unless Fleck is having a good day, he doesn't really look very alert when we're being attacked, and will be at least half a yard behind defensively, puts more pressure on the defence.

I think at this level his positives outweigh his negatives, when he went off we lost a fair bit of control in the midfield but yes I would like him to be more physically dominant .

No deffo a Norwood on form is good enough for his one shirk at a tackle a game

We need a Chris Morgan at CB and more strength and athleticism in midfield. Having said that, deserved the win today and a brilliant comeback.

You've nailed it. We also look more effective when we have a striker that.makes runs in behind. It opens the spaces for Ndiaye, MGW and Mcgoldrick. We saw that with Moose's introduction yesterday.

You see it the same as I. We lack presence right the way down our spine.

When you look at Bournemouth with Cahill at the back and then Lerma, Billing & Pearson in front - they're not going to lose many physical battles. Those players can mix it, which means first and foremost they're going to be solid and very hard to beat. They then have just enough at the other end to at least nick one or two goals.

We, particularly in midfield, lack anything. And at centre half Egan and Davies are too similar. Neat and tidy footballers, but vulnerable on the physical side.

I can't see us recruiting in January though so the answer has to come from within. I can't see this team getting much better defensively with these players in this shape. Not unless Berge comes back and provides something in the middle of the park.
Our only chance is if one of McBurnie, Mousset or Brewster suddenly wakes up and decides that they want to make the most of their talent this season.

We really need 1 or 2 of our big money signings to give us something because we're an average Championship side destined for midtable if they don't. It's the same lads that got us promoted 2 seasons ago MINUS an exceptional goalkeeper, MINUS Jack O'Connell (our best player) and MINUS Norwood & Fleck.
