Because he's a cunt who wrecked the career of one of my favourite Blades player in Dane Whitehouse. Absolute wanker.

I was there that day. I said to the bloke at the side of me immediately after that challenge: "Well, that'll be the last time we see Whitehouse play".
Ainsworth was a hero for Port Vale fans. My other half at the time was a Port Vale fan (though we didn't sit together that day).
Two people I really do wish the worst for, though if there was any form of redemption available, I'd be prepared to forgive Ainsworth.

I remember going up to Middlesboro in September 1997. Dane Whitehouse was superb and scored the winner and I rember thinking that we have a real player on our hands now that he is developing in the central midfield role.

By November his career was over.

If I could rewind just one piece of Blades history, this would be it.
