I cringed when I saw that starting lineup, and yet Clough managed to supersede expectations again. Bring on Bristol, Wednesday, Man Cuty whoever at this rate. Keeps half the league in the mix, only 6 points behind Gillingham now (with 3 games in hand too) and theyre in the top half. The more teams that are in it, the more chance of finishing above four of em. Anybody from Bradford in 11th could still go down. It's starting to look a lot brighter, we looked like getting cut adrift not so long ago.

Was very sceptical of Clough, but am definitely warming to him, seems to really be able to change the team to suit the occasion.

That's not the point, mate! How many of us would have made a disparaging comment about our excellent manager instead of giving the matter a little thought? That's all it needed. Here's a text exchange with a mate earlier, word for word:
