Has NIGEL gone mad...

Well done the lads, 351 heroes and our excellent manager, who certainly knows what the flying fuck he is doing!

Happy days ahead my friends.

I don't like to blow my own trumpet, however I don't mind a bit of praise off people like yourself Pinchy old Boy

I've always wanted to blow my own trumpet mate! I'm amazed that someone who can doesn't like it!

Great win for the lads tonight. Let's all get behind NC. He's turning this old ship around! :)

3 Points.

Mad as a box of frogs.

Wey Hey. Don't you just love it when a plan comes together. Personally I wouldn't know, but Nigel does :)

Suddenly that wretched league table makes for rather more pleasant viewing!

Not getting carried away I hope, but with the right backing NC can make something good happen at our great club. Pele knows, we deserve it!

Interesting to see what team lines up on Saturday. If Murphy, Scougall, Brayford and Baxter all come back in, at what point do we ALL START FREAKING THE FUCK OUT?!

If Nigel can get that XI to win an away game, when our away record is the worst in the league, then he is a chuffing genius. I cringed when I saw that starting lineup, and yet Clough managed to supersede expectations again. Bring on Bristol, Wednesday, Man Cuty whoever at this rate. Clough is quickly becoming our greatest manager for a very long long time if he can keep this up!

In Nigel we trust! huge win and we now have two home games on the trot to back it up.

Out of the bottom four is the big plus point of the week.

Big win after sunday. Tough place to go under normal circumstances, but after sunday it had a defeat written all over it.
Keeps half the league in the mix, only 6 points behind Gillingham now (with 3 games in hand too) and theyre in the top half. The more teams that are in it, the more chance of finishing above four of em. Anybody from Bradford in 11th could still go down. It's starting to look a lot brighter, we looked like getting cut adrift not so long ago.

As you say KM.....a huge sigh of relief after that. Feels like the result of the season....so far.

Good goal from Coady and well set up by Flynn. Excellent result and that table looks less depressing tonight UTB

What the flying fuck is he thinking???

Clough is clearly an idiot, as we only got three points tonight. Them skatists on the Olympic slidy dancing got loads more than three. A little more application and we will be getting lots of points per game.

He knew not to play the Cup Tarts
Simples ;)
You really are trying to make that phrase stick aren't you. If the cup run goes on however, I expect you to change your proffession to Baker and produce some of those lovely Cup Tarts. So you better get thinking up a recipe.

To be fair to the OP I did think the same. Very happy to be incorrect, as I am sure the OP is. People accusing others of over reactions should look in the mirror. How many of us would have picked that team tonight?

Was very sceptical of Clough, but am definitely warming to him, seems to really be able to change the team to suit the occasion.

Great to be a Blade, mid table obscurity and FA semi on the horizon

After tonight it feels like we suddely have a lot of depth but then again if a defender gets injured?

That's not the point, mate! How many of us would have made a disparaging comment about our excellent manager instead of giving the matter a little thought? That's all it needed. Here's a text exchange with a mate earlier, word for word:

"If I didn't have such faith in NC I'd be amazed at this team selection!!"

"Bizarre mate......"

"Can see what he's doing. Horrible 10 foot tall opponents. He's gone for physical rather than flair. Would still have played Scoogs though ❤️"

It wasn't rocket science!

I know it's hard for us to come to terms with the idea of a manager who knows what he's doing.

Let's have a bit more faith in future!

Great result at a very tough place to go and pick up points. Scruffy wins, sweet football, I don't really care. Points make prizes as Brucie used to say so well done Cloughie and well done to the players tonight. Finally we look as though we're getting organized and playing with a bit of spirit.

I am really hoping I can be calling them Cup Tarts right up til May, Boo
;)

I'll get the Mrs or my daughter to make them. They are the bakers in this house. Very talented.
