What's his track record like against us anyone know ?
I thought he seemed to be a half decent manager obviously not if the best he can do is the massives

3-1 March 29th 2008 at Deepdale.

Phew - I've got a massive superstition about mention of long runs. The moment somebody who is having one comes up against us and someone mentions it we invariably lose.

The season before last when Beattie equalised against the Pigs and everyone was lording it about it being 90 years since they did a double over us I should have gone and put my house on a double for last year.

Every sodding time. Bassett started it with his 'Every run comes to an end' statement.

The only time it doesn't seem to work is when it is our run of losing. The exception to prove this rule being Peterborough at home - although both sides tried so hard not to win that game for it to get beyond a joke. I was looking out Indian bookmakers and the ghost of Hansie Cronje.

3-1 Blackwell's first season. I can see positives and weaknesses to this. On the plus side, this isn't going to galvanise the support, he won't have the funds available which he did at PNE (and they were quite small). On the negative side, I find it very hard to dislike him so my quest for a Wednesday manager who i can easily hate goes on, and also he may just scrap together enough points to keep them up.

If he did a "welcome" piece on FH tonight, how long did it take to wheel the "M" word out?

With the wording in his blog of "We sack a manager and swap him for another who had an almost identical record, who was also sacked after winning only 1 game in ten but had a bigger squad & bigger wage bill than Laws had." I think it's fair to surmise that our friend Rocketman prefers to watch his football in what we refer to as "the sty" or "the deep end of town".

That is to say, Rocketman is indeed a pig.

And to the first reply to Mr. Rocketman's lovely blog, calling himself "Realist", it's not "in disscuise", it's "in disguise", you thick twat.

Well that's scuppered the rumour I was about to put about about Frodo being the new midfield general.

Back to the Babel Fish in the net then ....
