Think we might

Wrexham and West Ham both very interested and you’ve inquired apparently.

I think 8 is probably around right. Although he might retract his transfer request if the take over goes through from what I understand he is, like most of our players, completely dissatisfied with the ownership.
You could be right about the price, we won’t be able to pay.

West Ham or Wrexham, it’s like choosing which blunt instrument you’d like to be violated by. Especially those plastic cunts at Wrexham and their Z list mates. They can take a running fuck at a rolling doughnut

Stars just haven't aligned for us to sign him. Had he not got injured whilst with us we might have been that bit sterner and gone up either in top 2 or playoffs.
And signed him.

Had we still not gone up but he didn't get injured I reckon he might have been available last summer but for what price who knows.

We ain't flush and so we are now priced out I would think. Unless the fees are not as high as suggested.

That and there is no money to spend

If he's definitely handed a transfer request in I'd like to think that reduces his cost, but you'll obviously sell to the highest bidder, and it would be tough to outbid either of those.
West Ham are said to be in for everyone, so I'd take that with a pinch of salt, but Wrexham do beat us to a few targets nowadays.

Yeah it’s a formal transfer request, as you lot know he’s a very decent player though so, for once, we’re doing something semi sensible and holding out for the highest bidder and telling him he isn’t going anywhere unless the price is right.

Think it’ll be about 8 million wherever he goes, the take over might change his mind but he’s 27 and had too much of his career wasted by injury already without having to do a season in League One.

Wish him the best wherever he goes he deserves some luck and if it’s down the lane all the better. But I don’t see you shelling that amount of money out for a 27 year old centre half with an injury record.

Either way, if he is is fit, Australia have the Asia cup qualifiers in January, it is one to think about from all sides although due to the FA Cup providing there aren’t any other postponed games that need catching up he would miss rounds 3 and 4 weekends plus the league match the following weekend with 2 of them being in Australia (not sure where the 2nd match will be played as is against Iraq and not sure if they host matches currently) depending when the squad meet up he could potentially miss the New Year’s Day fixture for travelling. If he is at Leicester City and they don’t make it to round 3 of the FA Cup he could potentially miss 4 or 5 fixtures as there is a mid week game scheduled too. Although a lot on here see him as the answer and don’t get me wrong I think he is a decent player availability is needed personally £6-10million however much is quoted cannot be justified for an at risk player. There should be others we are looking at and new ownership however that looks won’t hold out too long as they will be at risk of a high wage bill.

Hes more than likely going to go where the money is best and where he thinks he will play. West Ham and Wrexham will both pay him more than we will and they will both have more money in their transfer kitty. The only way he comes to us is if he really wants to, will accept lower wages and tries to force Leicester to accept a lower fee.

Ah mate that would make very entertaining tv.
A la it's a knockout back in the day.
Hilarious🤣🤣🤣.
Have a triple like sir😎

It’s a pretty depressing state of affairs when the “mighty” Wrexham are able to offer players more money than us.
Is it?

Wrexham are financially doped way beyond their natural level. I don’t particularly like them but their current status is no particular reflection on SUFC who are occupying roughly the same place in the food chain as they have since the end of WW2.

Depressing was when we couldn’t compete with Crawley for Billy Clarke’s wages.

Margot Robbie is my preferred choice
Can you get an avatar of her

My wife often pinches my phone to see what I’ve been looking at .

Why does it nearly always say on the S24 forum that Bell4 is currently looking at Mbs Avatars ? .. is the question I often get asked
