Now shut the fuck up pigs........he's one of us!

“When I was a young boy, my dad supported Sheffield Wednesday and my mum supported Sheffield United,” Maguire told the Leicester Mercury. “When I was around 10 years-old, my dad used to take me to a couple of games but ever since I played for Sheffield United [I’ve supported them], I’ve played for them when I was 11 years-old. “I was a ball boy week in, week out at Bramall Lane from when I was 14 until 16 or 17. Then, I broke in and made my debut. I definitely follow Sheffield United now. It’s a great club and I thank them a lot because they’ve done so much for my career.

His dad "used to take him to a couple of games "? The little fibber, Harry was a season ticket holder at S6 for years

Just because someone buys you a Sheffield Wednesday season ticket doesn't mean you have to go to the games. It's a well known fact that Sheffield Wednesday employ a truant officer to look for their missing season ticket holders though.

Some Blades are born, others converted...some recognise the truth of the matter once they hit those teenage years and break the shackles of their parent(s.)

All are welcome. :)

We've helped him on his way to becoming millionaire and if that isn't enough to convert him to a lifelong Blade I don't know what will !

My mate's lad used to play in the same academy team, Harry would play on the Saturday morning then go to S6 in the afternoon.

At the beginning it doesn’t surprise me.
He was initially a Wednesdayite but his heart clearly wasn’t in it.

He learnt the error of his ways and once he developed his intelligence choose the Blades.
We all make mistakes and at least he eventually choose the right path and still attends some of our games.

You do know that George Hirst comes to watch the Blades home games don't you? He sits in the south stand with Forestifairy...

See, it's easy this fake news business. Piece of piss.

I used to speak to his Dad down at Shirecliffe, Wed through and through

Don`t think it matters one jot, he`s a Blade now, if I was ever good enough to play at that level, I would have gone and played for the pork if Utd didn`t want me.
We have a young lad who is from the dark side in and around the first team squad, as were 3 or 4 of last years U18s/23s

Would never have switched allegiances myself though!

We did that for Adkins, Sammon & Hammond as well .

They all change in our direction. Carl Bradshaw, Derek Dooley, Derek Geary, Richard Cresswell, Alan Quinn,

They all change allegiance and stayed blades after. Think Dane Whitehouse was a pig too.

How many blades have gone that way? Any?

Varadi ? Terry Curran was one who never saw the light. Destined to a life in darkness.

I honestly don't get why the other side constantly bring it up. Even if he was a wendy fan when he played for us ( even though he said he wasn't but obviously they're not going to believe that), the torrents of abuse he got on twitter (when he deactivated his account) when he first got into our team was horrendous, so no wonder he would have turned.

If it turns out a Wendy youth product is a Blade I wouldn't make it my life goal to abuse them ffs, they're professional footballers good on em
