If I'm honest I'd rather play Basham and Kennedy anyway, this isn't sour grapes...
But, getting relegated with Wigan isn't going to teach him much OR propel his career

He needs games. Even taking the red and white shades off I think he'd have been better here. For him now though games are crucial and at least he'll get them now. Wigan are so badly underperforming its a win win for him

He absolutely needs games, and I suppose he'll be kept busy there, but getting relegated at that age could really knock him back a bit.
He'll be given another chance at hull undoubtedly but I think he'll be on loan and playing in the championship for a while now

I wonder if Brayford is being paid as much as Maguire was asking for ?

You obviously know something I don't? Didn't realise Harry had high demands? I know(well, heard) it was him that wanted to leave- rather than us wanting to sell, but I just thought it was the pull of the premiership that sealed the deal

No I don't know anything ,genuine question. I would rather have Brayford of the 2 actually ,thought he was excellent tonight ,but Maguire would have ensured we were higher up the league.

I wouldn't think it was completely about money, more a place as a premier league player rather than hacking it in division three, I'm sure if jordan slew or harry had chatted with brayford he'd have advised them about making sure you keep your shirt and play as many games as you can because its a short carreer "etc"..

However, the agents job is to find premiership clubs for their players, so job well done by the respective agents i suppose for those two players..... but, they must have known the risk of not cutting it, and what that entailed...

Oh, and id rather have brayford over harry, but only because he has a beard.....

Liverpool are risking losing sterling over raising his wage..... A wage I'm almost certain they'll be paying Mario.
Strange how clubs treat their own youth talents sometimes.

irony is that when we go up and wigan go down he'll (harry) could be in the level below us :D

He's had one relegation with us. A playoff final defeat, another playoff defeat and a relegation battle / failed promotion bid last year. The damage may already be done.

And he was born in Barnsley.

I get your point, I just don't think the hull fans will have much patience with a player that they've just brought back from a team that's being relegated to league 1.

I think they'll be grateful of his championship experience when they're playing there next season ;)

All in all, he didn't want to stay so I don't want him back.
It's always tricky with loan players, they might help you for a few weeks but unless they care about the long term with you then it's not ideal

..sat on their bench instead of Hull's now...

I thought you were kidding, he genuinely is?
I honestly wish him all the best, but Wigan are pathetic and not starting for them is a really bad sign.

Is that not progress, how many times did he make the bench at Hull?

Yep..progress..I'm a big fan of Harry's and want the best for the lad, didn't begrudge him moving to Hull, though obviously hoped he'd stay again...don't subscribe to this 'fuck im' now he's not a Blade malarky...he was great for us on the whole...

Hope he get's some games at Wigan and does the business really...
