I like Edwards quite a lot to be fair I just think he’ll likely have interested from higher up the food chain and maybe for more money than we’d find comfortable.

Well you’d assume that sort of fee would’ve been doable for us post takeover. Oh well hopefully the options we pursue at CB will be equally interesting.
 
What I want to see is some bloody action on the transfer front not rumours . We need at least a dozen players and the way things are going we will be left with just the dregs after every other club has had their pick . Just like last year .I know there is a take over taking place but what happens if it is not in place before the season starts ? The club still has to function take over or not . These so called targets are not going to hang around forever while the ever increasing sluggish recruitment wheels at the Lane clicks into action .

Maybe I'm being naive, but surely Posh could probably offload him to anyone if they wanted. Surely we must have given them some sort of reassurance about this takeover. If we was pulling their chairman's chain he'd not think twice about outing us in public. I'll now remove my rose-tinted glasses

He’s definitely going as are Edwards and Ricky-Jade Jones. Peterborough actively look to sell players entering the last year of their deals. No idea if he ends up here but he will be sold this summer.

Yep. Edwards has already gone to Southampton which I assume is what’s funded their 2 signings today. Hopefully we get Burrows over the line.

We can't whilever the Prince is in charge. He doesn't seem capable (or willing) to fund any transfer business prior to outgoings.
Without the takeover, this is the reality.
