But it looked like wilder did have a transfer strategy however over the last few weeks it looks like they have taken it from his hands. This feels very different to the work he did and what he was saying when the likes of Fleck were coming through the door

Completely agree. Over the last few years we've generally suffered from similar problems, shuffling the deckchairs on the board tends to mask these issues and we herald a brand new process every 6 months.

Medical? That should take about three minutes judging on some of our recent signings.

Legs? check, two.
Arms? Check, two, both with hands.

Ok pass.

'Cheers lads, I won't let you down...'

*snigger*

'Fucking saps'

It's hard for an established LG 1 club like yourselves to bring in quality, if they are quality but want say " a move up north" or to Yorkshire then them players will be snapped up by better teams I. e Rotherham, the owls, Huddersfield and Barnsley, give hungry young players a go rather than journeymen, it worked for us last season the only " old travelled player" was hammill who was 28, the expectation and constant failure to get out of the tin pot could be a reason why it's hard to recruit quality, but your previous managers once upon a time were good so it must lie deeper than managerial selection, I also think that the blades players are nervous and playing with fear, I would like to see you promoted by the way, the championship is only short of a few local sides to be a full house, good luck for the season I sincerely mean that and yes I have 47 fingers, have a horse and cart and my mother is my sister, good luck

I honestly believe you will turn it around and claim second spot, we were shocking up until Xmas last year and the rest is history, you need to turn it around I have you down as an each way bet to win the league, it's only 3 games in the tide WILL turn

WARK! WARK! ITS THE FANS FAULT ALERT! WARK! WARK!

Pommpey

I was just thinking the same Pommpey

When McCabe made his "Europe in five years" speech, he should have told us all that it would only happen if we didn't bother turning up.
How were the fans supposed to know that the true way to obtaining success is to not go.
He should have made it much clearer to us and then I have no doubt we'd have been lining up alongside Barcelona and Real Madrid for each of the last 5 years

As McCabe is so heavily into property, Commercial and Residential, would anybody buy a property knowing his companies had a hand in building it

Would there be 5 mm screws where there should be 8mm screws
Would there be 3 inch nails where there should be 4 inch nails
Would he deal with those unscrupulous building inspector (agents)
Would he use qualified tradesmen or look to utilise the apprentices

I don't think him Simon and Scott are actually on the tools. They'd probably sub that bit out.

I'm sure there not, but I'm sure they pay for them
They're not on the pitch here either
