Glorious day. United goibg goal crazy down at Filbert Street under the sunshine with 10k Blades vacking them. Then back home for one heck of a party. Still say that was my best ever United related day.

Utd up, and Pigs snatching relegation out of nowhere. Leeds TV putting highlights of Wendy losing 3 nil at home with Roy Orbisons 'its over' soundtrack on, the next day. Delicious.

Lets hope another self publicising egotistical fat bastard 'does a Fat Ron' and takes em down next season to mark the 30th anniversary of that great day.

We even had the 1990 world cup to look forward to with Gazza, and we were all a lot younger then too with all in front of us. Happy days. Remember that weekend / year like it was yesterday.

Fabulous day. 8 of us went down in two cars and were on the stand to the side. I think we spent more time on the pitch during that first half than in our seats. The pig result and relegation was the icing on the cake.
I have my own copy of that Green Un but always remember it hung over the bar in the Sportsman. Yet another one of those never to be forgotten days just edged out by Darlington for me

My dad had an ear infection and was in pain every time he lost his balance (we were stood on our seats) during the goal celebrations so I had to keep watching him and protect him from being knocked about too much. He enjoyed the day despite the pain
