A lot of the Leicester fan comments appear to be saying he's their best right back.....could Wilder be thinking of playing him there once Vini is back? Not sure where he played him at Watford?

Hope he's been brought in to fill both roles then. We definitely need a right back and cover for Souza

If we sign Choudhury you'd assume we won't be signing a RB

That's a positive for me because I'd prefer any additional signing (after CB and CF) to be an attacking midfielder

Suddenly things don’t look so bleak -

RB: Gilchrist, Seriki, Shackleton
CB: Anel & Robbo (possible Gilchrist) - this is the position we need depth
LB: Burrows / McCallum / RND
CM: Souza, Choudhury, Peck, Davies
LW: Hamer / BBD
RW: JRS / Brooks
CAM: O’hare / Brewster
ST: Moore, BBD, Campbell, Brewster

Realistically we could get away with 2 more signings CB & ST seems to be the priority.

Maybe Wilder will push to get 3 more in dependent on the budget.

Choudhury has only really played right back under Enzo Maresca who tactically inverts his fullbacks into midfield. He’s very much a 6 which would suit our two defensive midfield system, not sure he’d play right back for us in anything other than needs must.

It was a sensible signing at the time but Seriki and Peck have both come past him and now Davies is back fit and firing too. I can't see him starting another game for us - except maybe an FA Cup game - if Choudhury comes in.

Shackleton was a weird one he only came in when Osborne’s contract offer was withdrawn or whatever happened … lower end champ squad filler at best for me
