Maybe if his passing was better. I rate him a lot but he's a different type

Hope he's been brought in to fill both roles then. We definitely need a right back and cover for SouzaA lot of the Leicester fan comments appear to be saying he's their best right back.....could Wilder be thinking of playing him there once Vini is back? Not sure where he played him at Watford?
Only one striker and no proper winger at all ?Well for me, if everyone is fit, I’d be playing 4321
Hamza (sitting deep)
Souza Peck
O hare Hamer
BBD (up top).
But that’s not how we’ve been playing. Peck at the Sty is the thing I most look forward to.
We’ve played one striker all seasonOnly one striker and no proper winger at all ?
Are we sending JRS back and selling Brooks ?
Maybe they need to decide whether we're having wingers or not
Isn't Shackleton also a midfielder? It ticks the championship experience box that he wanted.
Suddenly things don’t look so bleak -
GK: Cooper & Davies
RB: Gilchrist, Seriki, Shackleton
CB: Anel & Robbo (possible Gilchrist) - this is the position we need depth
LB: Burrows / McCallum / RND
CM: Souza, Choudhury, Peck, Davies
LW: Hamer / BBD
RW: JRS / Brooks
CAM: O’hare / Brewster
ST: Moore, BBD, Campbell, Brewster
Realistically we could get away with 2 more signings CB & ST seems to be the priority.
Maybe Wilder will push to get 3 more in dependent on the budget.

I'd say if we get these two we'd only need a quality centre back.
He is but the times he’s tried to play in that position this season I’m not sure he can play in a two. He looks like he’d be better in a 3.Isn't Shackleton also a midfielder?

has to play in a 3 he would be a liability in a midfield 2 hes just not good enough think he will be released in the summerHe is but the times he’s tried to play in that position this season I’m not sure he can play in a two. He looks like he’d be better in a 3.
To be honest I’m not sure what Shackleton’s best position is, I wasn’t impressed by him at RB either.
I would sit choudary and Souza in a 2 with O’hare in front , Hamer right and Brooks left against stronger teamsstill think 4312 would be our best system souza choudray davies/peck as the 3 hamer in behind a front 2 of moore campbell o'hare or brereton
Except available.Shackleton is anything we want him to be.
Morgan Gibbs(-White) I reckonMatt Grimes
As long as you buy him a drink firstShackleton is anything we want him to be.

Doesn't gilchrist play a similar roke for us.?Choudhury has only really played right back under Enzo Maresca who tactically inverts his fullbacks into midfield. He’s very much a 6 which would suit our two defensive midfield system, not sure he’d play right back for us in anything other than needs must.
your probably right we will probably stick with 4231 just think those 3 in midfield would be the best in the championship with brereton coming in it will be interesting to see what we do with hamer and o'hareI would sit choudary and Souza in a 2 with O’hare in front , Hamer right and Brooks left against stronger teams
Souza holding behind Hamer and O’Hare with Brooks and JRS wide against weaker teams
I think if Wilder had known how well Seriki and Peck were going to do, he probably wouldn't have signed Shackleton. It was a sensible signing at the time but Seriki and Peck have both come past him and now Davies is back fit and firing too. I can't see him starting another game for us - except maybe an FA Cup game - if Choudhury comes in.has to play in a 3 he would be a liability in a midfield 2 hes just not good enough think he will be released in the summer
I would put BBD up top on his own that would be a tremendous attacking threat BBD, O’Hare, Hamer, Brooks all on the same pitchyour probably right we will probably stick with 4231 just think those 3 in midfield would be the best in the championship with brereton coming in it will be interesting to see what we do with hamer and o'hare
Shackleton was a weird oneI think if Wilder had known how well Seriki and Peck were going to do, he probably wouldn't have signed Shackleton. im not totally sold on this lone striker formation i think we look more of a threat in final 3rd with 2 up top i think a front 2 of campbell and brereton could be very interesting campbell right bbd left and hamer playing an attacking midfielder just behind emI would put BBD up top on his own that would be a tremendous attacking threat BBD, O’Hare, Hamer, Brooks all on the same pitch
Id sign him first.I would sit choudary and Souza in a 2 with O’hare in front , Hamer right and Brooks left against stronger teams

Give it a go why not ? Nothing to loseim not totally sold on this lone striker formation i think we look more of a threat in final 3rd with 2 up top i think a front 2 of campbell and brereton could be very interesting campbell right bbd left and hamer playing an attacking midfielder just behind em
Indeed but with wingerWe’ve played one striker all season
I’d sign him just for his smashing hair, herring.Signed
