CONFIRMED Hamza Choudhury joins on loan with option to buy

I am guessing this is because we can’t promise Morton the game time and Choudhury probably won’t come with the same stipulations

I'm guessing we're putting stories out in the press to match Liverpool doing the same around Morton only being available for a transfer.
I'd recommend that folk don't get pulled into the game because there are so many smoke and mirrors being deployed it's impossible to know what's accurate aside from the fact we're unlikely to be talking to the media unless there's a message we want getting out.

Maybe, and once Souza is fit the Blaster role is a battle between the new guy/Davies/Peck.
The problem is, Choudhury is the Souza stand in, rather than the Blaster one.

I dont personally. I'd loan out One and Marsh. I'd sell Brewster too while we're on it, but that's not going to happen. I'd want a fox in the box striker.

correct one and marsh need to be out on loan this month do think if leicester would let cannon out on loan we would have gone for him

Hal's the man, and I understand things change and there's a lot of movies parts...
But I watched a couple of SUW scouting videos that never came off.
 
I'm chuffed to hear he's someone we're pursuing. We need some grit in there and a ball winner. It's been ages since we had a player like that?! Monty perhaps and I never thought Monty was particularly good if honest but this lad has played a lot of football in the top flight. He's also soon to be a Bangladeshi international, there's a first for us!
 
I would definitely welcome this signing.

We need someone who can provide cover for Souza and bring similar levels of physicality to the CDM role.

Whilst Davies and Peck have done a serviceable job in there between them, we have been too easy to play through in recent games.

Vini Souza...
 
Been a fan for a while. Always thought he could do a job for us, regardless of system/manager. 27 so just hitting the best years. Be chuffed if this happens and dare I say it, would be a decent indication of the depth of the new owners pockets.

Me too,seen him a few times and more than good enough for this league.

If it’s to be believed, I would not want to be Wilder picking his midfield against the Pigs at the Sty.
 
Signing Choudhury puts a lot of pressure on Tom Davies because without a different type of CM signing we're not getting anyone else to replace Arblaster

Tom Davies will pick pockets in the final third with Choudhury doing the dirty work

Makes me think Hamer might end up back there.
Peck is also capable, and probably more comfortable, playing more advanced.

If we bring in Choudhury I'll be really pleased, I wouldn't see much to concern me in our CM options.
 
A lot of the Leicester fan comments appear to be saying he's their best right back.....could Wilder be thinking of playing him there once Vini is back? Not sure where he played him at Watford?

It ticks the championship experience box that he wanted.

Suddenly things don’t look so bleak -

GK: Cooper & Davies
RB: Gilchrist, Seriki, Shackleton
CB: Anel & Robbo (possible Gilchrist) - this is the position we need depth
LB: Burrows / McCallum / RND
CM: Souza, Choudhury, Peck, Davies
LW: Hamer / BBD
RW: JRS / Brooks
CAM: O’hare / Brewster
ST: Moore, BBD, Campbell, Brewster

Realistically we could get away with 2 more signings CB & ST seems to be the priority.

Maybe Wilder will push to get 3 more in dependent on the budget.
