Because we are fucked with continual changing / sacking managers , and that being the catalyst for the state we are in . I am glad that Adkins has got more experience than any of us and knows what he is doing whether we like it or not

Sorry pal, I haven't as my contact is overseas. The only info I get is concrete, as and when I see him. Nuggets such as Murphy's departure, the Edgar deal and Baxter's misdemeanour became forum knowledge so I never posted. Clough's p45 and the Brayford transfer & amount paid I received ahead of time but that was a rarity.

Starts with Coutts, Hammond, Basham, and Woolford are all similar - and doesn't get better from there.

Kennedy is a good centre half - who couldn't get in the Cambridge team.

I see Hammond as potentially filling a similar role as Gary Speed did - i.e play for a season or two and then become part of the coaching set up.

I'm sure that would be attractive to him with our facilities and obviously the presence of Adkins.

And like Speed he's a yard slow

There's worse players on the pitch than dean Hammond, and can you just start to visualise how good George long will be without the car crash that is our defence in front of him, likewise Hammond must think every slip he makes will result in a goal, we've either been really unlucky because the worlds most skilful league one players have all hit form this season and seem to riverdance thier way around our box before scoring the goal of thier life, when it's done at the lane against us it's even sweeter isn't it for them..

Stop slagging off players who are getting better every game, we know where we need to strengthen, it's at the back, we're cack at the back, Adkins is a protagonist of keeping clean sheets, this will be sorted, this season, or next..

Hammond has improved and looks a decent player but he needs a creative player alongside him and drop Basham to centre half

So it seems like the 16k per week info could be reliable.

FFS, Leicester wouldn't be able to convince any other team to pay anywhere near that.
