I’m friends with him on a NFL group, we both support the same team, we only really talk NFL, he doesn’t come on to talk about his work

That’s why I don’t bother him and didn’t push for any more as I know he is busy right now

I appreciate your response is in jest and that it could change with Hamer at any point but I thought I would just pop the little I know for people following

Clubs are free to sell players outside of transfer windows the windows are only for registering new players so if the buying clubs window is open but the selling clubs window is shut then the player can still be sold. This is also why you occasionally see deals done outside of windows but the deal doesn’t officially go through in terms of transferring registrations until the buying clubs window opens again.
