Adding one person as a DoF without that changed the needle not one iota. Sheffield United has always been run with a lean staff because it’s allus been skint.

Alright I will bite for the fine of. It’s a shame I can’t name one good thing in Coventry and that is genuine.

Point 1) No Blades fan is born thinking the club is a positive “glory” club, even in our Premier League days it was still doom and gloom, you support the club not a franchise. “Dark times” happen every other week.

2) “He’s Brazilian” he was born in Brazil and moved to the Netherlands as a kid he has never played for Brazil, the highest he got was the Netherlands U20s

3) It a deal that makes sense we have him effectively for 3 seasons for £3mlllion plus salary per season. Last season he was averaging 68 minutes in the Championship before being subbed off, he will struggle with the pace of the Premier League. But don’t forget it’s £6millon plus add ons which easily could take it up for us not you.

4) The too original comment “Everything about Sheffield is a shit hole and the only good things I can think of are the Crucible and Sheffield Wednesday..” I think I first heard that comment in 1995. The only good thing in Coventry was unfortunately destroyed in WW2. Maybe Northampton or MK Dons maybe a better rival as we have enough proper football history within South Yorkshire….
