We were sat in the block where this was going off (lower tier), it sounded fantastic.

Fucking nailed on with that comment mate.......I was taking to a reyt nice 79 year old guy behind me and he was loving the whole day, pyros and all, and tbh I respect his opinion on the day then some bell who needs to chill the fuck out, what the fuck is wrong with folk, some of these moaning fuckers could do with spending a couple of quid on a blowjob at a sauna.......enjoy the moment ffs
No, which bit was inaccurate? Are you taking the piss?
Disgraceful behaviour. Not what i want to experience at a football match.
Fucking moronic.
Couple of quid, where's this sauna you talk of?Fucking nailed on with that comment mate.......I was taking to a reyt nice 79 year old guy behind me and he was loving the whole day, pyros and all, and tbh I respect his opinion on the day then some bell who needs to chill the fuck out, what the fuck is wrong with folk, some of these moaning fuckers could do with spending a couple of quid on a blowjob at a sauna.......enjoy the moment ffs
It struck me as odd that the youths would want to bounce around in a dark concourse well into the second half rather than watch the football.Silent in the stands, then go in to the concourse 5mins before HT causing congestion for people needing a piss or buying.
Repeat the same chant for all HT and for 15mins into the second half, missing the game and killing the atmosphere in the stadium.
Didn't even hear the GCB song for the start of the second half.
It struck me as odd that the youths would want to bounce around in a dark concourse well into the second half rather than watch the football.
But apart from the usual flare shenanigans, the congestion and the risk of breaking their own necks - each to their own I guess.
Yeah I don't mind flares and of course it is each to their own.It struck me as odd that the youths would want to bounce around in a dark concourse well into the second half rather than watch the football.
But apart from the usual flare shenanigans, the congestion and the risk of breaking their own necks - each to their own I guess.
To sum up my view...
Pyrotechnics definitely add something, I'd like them to be legal (it would be safer), and that photo is indeed fantastic.
I'm pissed off they can't put half as much effort into supporting the team. Making a racket at half time does not make you good supporters.
In reality this will probably have implications for us as supporters because we've had more than one warning about it. I can see the 'fuck it, enjoy the moment' view but if we're staring at thousands of empty seats in the away end next season after selling all our tickets then a lot of views will change.
We definitely have a large percentage of boring bastards who oppose anything different (and don't sing), which is disappointing.
If the 'pyro boys' just redirected their efforts a little bit they could indeed improve our support massively. But unfortunately, it's not about support for them, it's more about looking good on Facebook and Twitter.
It feels like those who are in it for the football above all else and put a lot of effort into supporting the team vocally are in a very small minority.
And while I'm at it, banging out the same song non stop when it isn't catching on doesn't make you a super Blade, it makes you fucking stupid. Because it goes a long way towards preventing other songs from starting.
Did anyone else see Matt Done's reaction when he saw it from pitch at half time warm up ?
He looked up and just mouthed " OH WOW"
I'd always back the singers, but these people don't sing in the stand. The way I see it all at half time is those that wanted to be involved were there singing loud and proud, a little further down the concourse it was quieter where you could get to the toilet and food queue easier. If I was with a child I'd simply make my way to somewhere a little less crammed. It's a bit like going into a packed pub and having to squeeze your way to the back to find some space. The people that were making the noise just have to be a little more aware of old ones, women, children coming past. I can see both sides of the argument but I'll always lean towards the singers because without them I might aswel start mowing the lawn on a Saturday.
I think people are a bit wary of behaving like this whilst in the seating area because of the miserable twats that have latched onto us over the last few years
In the concourse anybody not wanting to be involved can get away from it
In the seats there's always people who will moan and complain and report incidents to the police and stewards
I can't really argue against that, singing in the stand is pretty sporadic because little pockets of singers are all over the place.I'd always back the singers, but these people don't sing in the stand.
This is how a well behaved crowd celebrate
Yeah I think you're right. It's about like minded young lads congregating. That's probably a factor, but they couldn't stop them making noise.
It's easier to congregate in one place at half time, so it's obvious why it happens. Just a shame it's where they focus their efforts.
some of these moaning fuckers could do with spending a couple of quid on a blowjob at a sauna
He jumped off. Along with a few othersIt would have been a better picture if had fell off!!!!
a tool to start an argument
